Chapter 164 - Chapter 164

Indra, like Shiva, had the ability to peer into the future. And using this ability, he saw that in the future, many of the gods in the Hindu pantheon would disappear, so this is why he expanded his forces to include outsiders in his army in preparation for the future, where only Shiva's army would be weakened.

But when he used his ability on Shaltier, he only saw a dense fog that was obstructing everything. And what further shocked Indra was the fact that when he tried to peer into his own future, he was once again met with this dense fog that hid everything.

In Indra's whole life, he had never seen something happen. Even when he used his future vision on Shiva or even Ophis, whom he coincidentally once saw, he could still see their future. Although some of the visions he saw were blurry, he still saw it.

'This girl needs to die, ' Indra thought as he released his divine aura to its full extent. For someone who was used to knowing the future, a variable like Shaltier is their worst nightmare.

"Die, " Indra roared as he fired a divine lightning attack. Earlier, he may have held himself back, not wanting to affect his subordinates who are dealing with the others. But now Indra couldn't care less about anything. If the price for killing this person is just the lives of his subordinates, then Indra would do it without hesitation.

Roxanne, who noticed Indra's sudden change of mentality, frowned. 'Why did he suddenly lose his cool? ' she wondered as she used force to block the attack.

Just as she was about to dig for information, Roxanne suddenly felt a sense of danger. And the direction this is coming from is from her back.

Wasting no time, Roxane unfolded her wings and flew upwards immediately. And in the next second, a fast-flying object passed by, nearly shredding Roxanne into pieces if she had been a second late.

Mid-air, Roxanne did a somersault and opened her gate of Babylon and threw a few B-rank weapons at Indra. Her motto in life is an eye for an eye and a flying weapon for a flying weapon.

Numerous weapons that were bathed in Roxanne's god slayer aura attacked Indra at once.

Indra, who just got his personal weapon back, wasted no time as he used it to blow away the incoming weapons.

These weapons, although pale in comparison to his own Vajra, still had the capabilities to injure him with their god-slayer properties.

The gods who were looking at the battlefield all suddenly got chills on their faces as they witnessed dozens, if not hundreds, of weapons that could kill them with a single strike appear.

This made the fighting spirit that was ignited when Indra's comeback disappeared immediately from their hearts. They knew that if they tried to interfere in that battle, forget the two scary girls, just one of those random weapons would be enough to finish them off.

After all, not everyone is like Indra. Normal gods only have a defense that is slightly better than any other ultimate-class being. But even then, with their years of laziness and lack of combat experience, that defense may have dropped by 50%.

So these failures of gods could only pray that Indra could win this battle, or at least hold on till reinforcements arrive. Speaking of reinforcements, aren't they a bit too late?

You know this place, Indra's castle. How could Indra not have any guards to guard his castle? And isn't the commotion of the battle enough to attract the other gods in Heaven?

As these gods thought of this, they suddenly thought of two terrifying possibilities. One of all the gods may have been taken care of by this group of mercenaries. After all, from the reports, they knew the Shadow Garden had more than a hundred members.

The second possibility is that all the gods may have hung the banner of rebellion while the god-king Indra is preoccupied. Although this may seem absurd, as gods, everything is possible.

No matter which possibility it is, each of them wasn't great for these useless gods. After all, since ancient times, these guys had always used large numbers to bully their enemies.

Unfortunately for them, neither Luminous nor Sophia was bored enough to tell them that Indra's small faction is actually being detained as they speak.

Yes, when Roxanne came to arrest Indra, she didn't just barge into this castle like a certain hot-blooded protagonist. She devised a very simple but ruthless plan.

Before coming here, she collected all the information about Indra's subordinates and made sure to have enough concrete evidence of their involvement with the Khaos Brigade.

After all, she wasn't really going to destroy her group's reputation over someone insignificant like Indra.

With hard, solid evidence in hand, she ordered all of her shadow garden members to go and capture those gods and take them away in the most flashy manner.

She wanted to cause as much chaos as possible for her next plan. And while her team is doing their job, she has the important task of showing Indra what true despair is.

'Oh, it seems our hero is arriving. 'In Roxanne's sensing range, she suddenly sensed the magical signature of a god rushing towards her at breakneck speed. 'Well, let's wrap things up now, then. ' With a cold smile, Roxanne held her sword diagonally and said, " Bankai: Meikai no Toraware-shi Mono-tachi e no Kusari."

Amongst all the anime out there, one of Roxanne's favorite anime is Bleach. But unlike other fans, the main reason why she liked this anime is because of the existence of Zanpakuto.

As a weaponsmith herself, she was fascinated by the zanpakuto. In the world of Bleach, the zanpakuto plays a key role in the whole story. The shinigami once managed to dominate the three realms because they had the zanpakuto.

Even the orange-haired brat only managed to win almost all of his fights because of his amazing zanpakuto. The Quincies only dared to attack the Soul Society after they had found a way to restrain the zanpakuto.

So with all this, how could Roxanne not want her own zanpakuto? At first, she wanted to create her own zanpakuto. But she was stopped by her dear friend Amelia.

According to her, if Roxanne really made a Zanpakuto, then this world, which was already chaotic, would descend into complete, madness-filled chaos. After all, the Zanpakuto was essentially made by using the soul as a material. Amelia didn't want to even think about what type of madness would happen if Roxanne's technology were copied or even stolen.

Roxanne was very sad about this. She was also a little puzzled why Amelia was making a big deal out of this. I mean, there was already something called soul weapons and sacred gears, right? What could a zanpakuto do compared to them?

To this, Amelia could sigh and begin her explanation. You see, soul weapons like Azrael's scythe are essentially just a part of their own powers, crystallized into a weapon. And by crystallizing one's power into a weapon, the user would get weaker due to the loss of the power and missing a part of the soul that was used for the crystallization. Due to these reasons, the user would definitely be weakened for at least a thousand years.

This is why, despite the capability to do so, there aren't many soul weapons. No one could guarantee their survival during the period they were at their weakest, so not many dared to even try it. Some who tried it died due to the soul damage.

And speaking of sacred gears, those are only considered trinkets. Without the soul of a powerful being, a sacred gear is quite useless. The reason why the 12 Longinus had the capabilities to kill gods is because the souls that were trapped inside these sacred gears had that achievement in the past.

So after all of this, one might ask how the hell Roxanne still had her own zanpakuto. Well, the answer to that question is that Amelia gave her an Asauchi for one of Roxanne's birthdays. And according to her, as long as Roxanne, who had her blessing, didn't invent anything that is foreign to this world, no one in the entire world would be able to make it even if they had the blueprints and necessary materials.

She said the world's will would not allow such inventions to exist. Which is why it would block any attempts for such creations to be born. Every being, whether it was gods or even humans, would have to live under this absolute rule. The only exception to this rule is Roxanne, who is not from this world and could not be judged by the will of the world.
