Now they faced a new enemy, but little did they know that this wasn't entirely true. The fallen angels and Purgatory sought out the primordials with the goal of subjugating them. Their plan was similar to that of the rogue dragon a few years ago, who tried to assimilate the fallen god and similarly failed.
They believed they could do so with the resources they had obtained from the sacred region, but they were wrong. The primordials, although less powerful than the gods, weren't far behind. Their power is similar to that of spirits like Terra and Aqua, but far more nefarious and vicious.
They had been imprisoned for millennia, long before the fallen god appeared, so they had a much greater pent-up resentment. Their strength may not have been equivalent to that of the fallen god, but they were a greater threat than Purgatory and the fallen angels.
