The Bodhisattva Guanyin suddenly descended upon Chang'an City, arriving at the Great Ming Palace to meet with the Emperor Li Shimin of the Great Tang Empire!
"Amitabha!" Guanyin first uttered a Buddhist phrase, then bowed to Li Shimin and said: "Greetings, Your Majesty!"
"Who are you?" Li Shimin looked at Guanyin before him, his brow slightly furrowing: "How dare you trespass into the Imperial Palace, what crime should this entail?"
Upon hearing Li Shimin's reprimand, Guanyin's lips slightly curled into an inscrutable smile: "The Emperor of the Great Tang need not be alarmed; I am the Bodhisattva Guanyin, a disciple of the Buddhist Sect from the Spiritual Mountain.
Today, I come to the Great Ming Palace to request Emperor Tang to send Buddhist disciples to the Western Heavenly Spirit Mountain to seek the True Scripture, to relieve the suffering of all beings in the world..."
