The successors of the Heavenly Sword Sect moved one by one with swords in hand, blocking the path of the successor disciples of the Tianling Sect.
Then came the sharp sound of swords being drawn. Led by Sheng Chuqing, they pointed their swords at Zhan Lingtian and the others from the Tianling Sect.
Sword Qi flickered at the tips of the swords, sharp and threatening.
Zhan Lingtian and his companions halted their steps, their expressions turning grim.
"Everyone, you are pointing your swords at me, what is your intention?" he asked puzzled.
He just wanted to leave!
"Senior Brother won't let you leave," Sheng Chuqing answered bluntly.
Zhan Lingtian frowned and gestured to the wounded successor disciples.
He then turned to look at Yang Yan.
"This senior brother, why won't you let us leave?
We are gravely injured and need to treat our wounds!" he asked, trying to suppress his displeasure.
*His own successors were so badly hurt, why wouldn't they be allowed to leave?*
