"I can't believe that Vrasha and Valeria would dare to sneak my darling away from under my nose… those two…" Anna Grace muttered with a sharp glint in her eyes, her voice low and filled with jealousy.
With a heavy sigh, she sat on the bed, hugging her pillow tightly and burying her face in it.
"I can't even blame them, considering how charming and irresistible he is… they just can't control themselves," she mumbled softly, her tone a mix of exasperation and longing.
Just then, Lily quietly crept up behind her and wrapped her arms around her shoulders. A playful smile curled on her lips as she whispered teasingly into her mother's ear, "Mom, should we go and join them? It might be fun."
Anna Grace froze for a moment at her daughter's mischievous tone, her cheeks warming slightly.
'This girl… how can she be so bold?' she thought, sighing inwardly. Yet, she couldn't completely deny that she understood those feelings all too well.
