Inside the bamboo hut.
Shi Sheng woke up.
He got up from the bamboo bed.
Looking down, he discovered the bamboo bed was stained black.
A truly awful smell was coming off of it.
Shi Sheng froze for a second.
What the hell is this?
Master's not gonna get mad at him for dirtying the bed, right?
So—
He hurriedly picked up the bamboo bed, planning to take it out for a good wash.
Lu Chang'sheng just happened to be watering the vegetable garden, and when he saw this scene, he couldn't help but pause and ask, "What are you doing?"
Shi Sheng set the bed down, scratching his head a little embarrassed, looking like a kid who'd messed up, making a face and saying, "Master, I dirtied the bed. I'm going to wash it."

That smell was so strong, even from a few meters away, Lu Chang'sheng could easily smell it.
"Don't worry about it, that's just the impurities in your body coming out."
"Impurities?"
Shi Sheng was briefly stunned.
