After discussions between Hong Ying, Ning Chenxin, and the Scholar, the assessment was divided into three trials in total.
The first trial consisted of personal arena matches for ranking, selecting the top fifty to form teams of five by five.
These team members would advance to the second trial—a team battle staged upon the ancient battlefield, with points awarded based on the rank of inheritance seized. The teams with the highest scores would claim victory, with the top three advancing.
As for the third trial, that was Ning Chenxin's idea.
Using an illusion array, the rewards were split into three levels and placed among the three teams. Each team would find only three grades of reward for its five members.
Not only were the rewards uneven, but two team members would receive nothing at all.
This forced them to decide the distribution themselves.
