Chapter 1760 - Chapter 1677: Metropolitan Guard Forces

On this day, the Tang Army advanced their front line to a position less than 50 kilometers from the Furnace Fortress. After capturing a small village, they stopped to rest and regroup.

The troops needed to replenish ammunition, repair and maintain tanks and armored vehicles, and wait for subsequent units to catch up. This unit belonged to the 9th Corps of the Tang Empire, and just before stopping their advance, they noticed that the dwarf troops on the opposite side seemed to have acquired a new "unit designation."

Even with its high mechanization, the Tang Army still had a large volume of logistics and secondary troops. Besides the self-propelled artillery, the Tang Army was also heavily equipped with towed 155 howitzers.

Getting these artillery pieces into position took time, and the transport units needed even more time to bring supplies forward to a more frontline position.
