Ling Momo wrinkled her nose and then grabbed her cellphone to find the electricity meter inside the house. Under the dim light, she noticed there was still plenty of electricity, so she ran to the window and saw that the other houses had power. That made her realize the problem was not a power outage in the neighborhood, but something in her own house.
Ling Momo scratched her head and walked out of her house to the meter box in the corridor, opened it, and just froze there.
Annoyed, Ling Momo fretted over the jumbled mess inside.
She was completely clueless about these things; the switches and wires were all over the place and she didn't know where to start.
She randomly fiddled with her home's circuit breaker a few times but found to her dismay that the lights still didn't come on. Unable to resist, she raised her hand, scratched her hair, pouted her lips, and then, frustrated, kicked at those things while mumbling to herself, trying to figure them out.
