The dinner ended with a smile on their faces, and they conversed throughout the whole meal.
Yuji was used to at least stacking the dishes when he eats out, after cleaning their table, he went to the counter and settled their paymen,t including the reservation.
"Thank you Ma'am," he said after paying. "You're welcome," the middle-aged woman answered.
They all said "Thank you" as they left the small restaurant. "I'm stuffed" Sana said as she held on to Momo. "The food was great" Mina said, opening the door of the van. They all feel at ease after a great meal, until they notice people staring at them with whispers.
"Do I still have food on my face?" Momo asked, "No, Why?" Yuji answered, then suddenly something snapped on his head. "Get in!" he softly yelled, looking at the three girls.
"Why? Are we in a hurry?" Sana asked, then Mina was able to catch on and pushed Sana in. "Yuji" Mina whispered, looking at Momo. Yuji nods and pulls Momo to the shotgun seat, "Hey what the he-" Yuji shuts the door and runs around to the driver's seat, then fires up the engine.
He drove off as fast as possible, and when they were able to get away, they all laughed inside the van, "Damn, how could we forget? HAHAHAHA" Mina said.
"We're too comfortable" Sana said. "You think they were able to know your faces?" Yuji said. "I think so" Momo answered.
"I stared and smiled at them" Momo said with a laugh on her lips. Yuji sighed, "I always forget that I'm handling stars."
Yuji drove them home, again, the three were asleep in the van when they arrived. Mina woke up the moment the van stopped at the driveway of their apartment. She woke up Sana, "Clean up and go to bed" she said and Sana nodded. The two walked inside and Yuji carried their stuff inside.
He was about to get the last batch of their things when he noticed Momo still asleep by the shotgun seat.
Yuji gently taps her shoulder, "Hey, we're home" he softly said, staring at the beauty this woman gives off.
She just shrugged and covered herself with a jacket. Yuji smiled at the cuteness she was showing. "If you don't get up, I'll carry you" he suddenly blurted out which he instantly regretted.
Momo's eyes widened; it felt like a storm of butterflies dancing around her stomach. She tossed the jacket at Yuji's face and ran inside.
Yuji felt embarrassed by the way he acted. "Keep it together, Yuji" he talked to himself as he got inside the van. He changed clothes in the van, then drove back to the company to return the van.
The thing he said haunts him inside, 'What's wrong with you?' he talks to himself before looking at the rear view mirror and he sees the flowers given to Sana earlier.
He decided to go back and give it to her. When he reached their apartment, he noticed that all the lights were already closed. He lit up his phone, "It's only 7:30 PM, are they in bed already?" he said as he went to the back of the van to grab the flowers.
He typed in the password of the door and got in. All the lights were turned off except the one near the back door that they always kept on. Yuji thinks that he should wake up Sana for this but after seeing how tiring the shoot is, he decided not to.
He went to the little storage room and looked for something that could hold the flowers. He found a clear cylinder container. He was about to go out, but he was surprised when he turned around.
Momo's POV:
She slept soundly beside the driver's seat. She noticed that Yuji drove more carefully when he noticed that everyone was sleeping. She smiled when Yuji put a jacket on her lap and played soft music as they drove home.
Momo was awake when they arrived home. She heard that Mina woke up Sana, but she was surprised when they went inside without her. Her heart pounds thinking that Yuji was the one who would wake her up.
The moment came, he opened the door and Momo pretended to sleep. 'Please, just wake me up without tapping me' she whispered even in her mind.
As Yuji tapped her shoulders, she tried brushing it off by pretending to be in a deep sleep and covering herself more with the jacket, thinking it would just get annoyed by i,t but to her surprise, he didn't; instead, he said, "If you don't get up, I'll carry you".
Momo's sanity came crashing, her heart pounded and she felt the blood rushing to her cheeks. She knows she can't pretend to sleep, 'He won't do it right? What if he does?' Deep inside her heart is panicking.
She lightly lifted the folds of her eyes and saw the jacket; she had an idea. Momo grabbed the jacket and swiftly tossed it on Yuji's face.
'Run Momo!' her mind screams as she jumps out of the van and rushes to the door. She thought that Yuji would follow since it took so long before something moved outside, so she watched from the window but the van drove away. She sighed, "Why would he act like that?" she talked loudly.
"Act like what?" Mina said as she watched Momo by the window. "N-nothing" she rushed towards her room to take a shower.
His words replayed in her mind over and over again, even while brushing her teeth. She smiled at the generous gesture he offered, but then she shook her head. 'What's wrong with me?' she asked herself again and again.
After showering, she turned every light off except the one at the back and went to her bedroom.
She left her door slightly open to let some air in, not so long that she heard noises outside. Momo panicked but she thought that she could scare the intruder with her heavy sword replica.
She went to where all the noise was coming from, fear came into her, but all she could think about was their safety. She found the intruder in the storage room when she was about to swing,
Back to Original POV:
Yuji turns and is surprised when someone is about to swing a sword at him, "WAIIIIIIIT! It's ME!" he screams, covering himself with the cylinder that he holds.
As he screams, Momo also screams and slips after stopping herself from swinging. Yuji noticed Momo about to fall, so he tossed the cylinder and grabbed her by the waist but due to the momentum, they were about to fal,l but Yuji was able to manoeuvre himself to be the one who landed on the floor.
A huge shattering sound was heard around the house as the cylinder container fell. Mina was alarmed by the sound and went out hurriedly with a mask on her face; she was in her silk robe.
She peeks out from afar because she fears that it is an intruder.
Momo slowly opened her eyes, but she finds herself unharmed. Yuji groaned as he felt the impact on his back. She suddenly blushed as she felt his hard chest.
"Ouch" a word suddenly escapes from Yuji's mouth. Mina rushed as she heard Yuji, but was shocked when she saw the two in an awkward position.
"What are you two doing?" Mina said in motherly tone.
Momo was flustered when she saw Mina, she pushed herself up away from Yuji. The two panicked and explain their story at the same time.
"You see I was about to get something for Sana's flow-" Yuji starts explaining then Momo also starts blabbering, "I thought someone get ins-" the two spoke at the same time leaving Mina on dazed.
Mina sighed and walked towards the living room, "Come here, explain yourself one at a time" she sat down.
The two tell their own story. "So that's what happened?" Mina said. She looked at Yuji, "Why won't you look at us?" she spoke.
"Uhmm" he pointed at Momo who was seating right next to Mina. Momo was wearing a thin-strapped top and pajama.
Mina laughed and lightly slap Momo's forearm, she look at Mina with cross-eyebrows but Mina use her lips to point at her top.
Momo suddenly realized and covered her exposed collarbone, Yuji grabbed the blanket by the sofa and gave it to her without looking. Mina stood up, "You two settle this on your own, I am stressed my mask won't have an effect anymore" she said walking to her room.
The two was silent at the living room.
