Chapter 285 - Zeratul Story.

"Friend Alexander, It's been many cycles that you and Friend Raynor have been a allies to our people as we stood against the swarm as one.

And I humble to give thanks that you send your warriors to free my Matriarch from the clutches of the Queen of blades.

Since then I have wandered the Void in solitude, seeking an ancient prophecy rumored to foretell the return of the Xel'Naga.

The gods of this universe that would tell the end of this war...

After we parted ways, I dove into the void to seek answers. For many cycles from sun of Shakuras, I found the clues to a prophecy made by our gods...

In one world where the ancient have slept throughout the ages.... A prophecy called upon me...

My sojourn led me to a remote world known as Ulaan … where I discovered fragments of the prophecy. Yet I was not the first to find them.

And answers I have found within... Disturbing.

Bear Witness Friend Alexander....

To our doom.

It falls to you now, my precious friend … to relieve my memories … and believe... For a better tomorrow." - Zeratul memoir.

Alexander found his mind being sucked into the crystal that Zeratul gave him.

As he gasped, as his mind tried to copy the mind of a Protoss. His limbs felt longer and he felt more hunchback. A strange power coursed through him.

As the pain ended he looked around and found that he was in the body of Zeratul.

And around him was a cavern filled with stalactites. There was a puddle of water and he found himself truly in the eyes of Zeratul.

"I must hurry." Zeratul spoke.

Alexander felt the entire body of the Protoss moved in the shadows.

As he arrived at a larger clearing...

He found fragments of a ancient glyphs that tells something but at the same time incomprehensible to him.

As he was busy interpreting the monument.

He heard a growl and found a Zerg Hydralisk snarling at him.

Zeratul moved his psi blade and pierced the skull of the beast and it ended in a whimper, but two more appeared and began to shoot spine shards at him.

He moved in the smoke and shadows as he smashed one with a stalactite and took the mandible and pierced the last one.

There was laugher that echo in the darkness.

"I knew you'd find your way here... eventually"

A face Alexander knew the most.

Kerrigan walked from the shadows with airs of regality. Had it not been for her Zerg skin suit, she would be mistaken as a queen...

"Your very presence defiles this place, Kerrigan." Zeratul snapped.

Kerrigan did not even heed his words as her eyes darted around. Searching for something.

"Do you hear them, Zeratul? Whispering from the stars? The galaxy will burn with their coming." Her eyes glowed with yellow hue as she gaze upon the Protoss.

"Perhaps..." Zeratul dissipate into the darkness.

Kerrigan simply glance to the ceiling as he appeared and lunged forward.

"If you not live to see through it!" His psyblade aimed through but her psychic might halted his attack midway as she smiled.

"Please... our petty conflicts mean nothing now.

A storm is coming that cannot be stopped. Not by you, not the Imperium or the Dominion.

Fitting, that we should face oblivion together." She chuckles as more of her Zerg began to converge at his location.

Zeratul struggle as he used the power of the void to break free from his restraint and used his blade and slice at her, but in exchange she managed to injury him as her claw like fingers slash actors his body... A part of her bone wing snapped in half.

"Never!" Zeratul snapped.

She smiled at his futile defiance and she gave her words. Before ordering the rest of the Zerg to chase after him.

"Fate cannot be changed.

The end comes.

And when it finds me..."

She regrew her injured wings and the Zerg around her gave roars.

"I shall embrace it at last." She chuckle as she disappeared into the darkness.

Zeratul was forced to escape.

"The prophecy is uncertain.

There is always hope." He muttered as he clamber to another hole above the cavern.

Alexander found himself in a planet that is littered with life in a lifeless planet.

The Zerg hatcheries began to infest the planet. It was slower as it had no biomass to hasten their growth.

And with Zeratul attacks and his shadow blink, it enlightened Alexander if he could do the same.

This time, it was more harder, Kerrigan taunted him and Zeratul at every turn.

Her Zergs dwell in the darkness, ready to lunged at very crevices.

This time he felt the pressure of Zeratul.

He saw Zeratul managed to destroy all the local hatcheries of the Zerg in the vicinity... But the world is doomed. As more and more Zerg would appear in the far reaches of the planet to get to his location.

And upon the first fragment of the prophecy.

Kerrigan mocked Zeratul

"Why not surrender yourself to oblivion, Zeratul? Wouldn't it be better to end your struggle now than witness the final agonizing moments of your species?" She whisper like a toxic wine to his ears.

"The foreboding prophecy weighs heavily on my heart. I'd best reach the remaining shrines before she reconsiders letting me live." Zeratul heart was heavy as he glimpse of the partial truth of the artifact and destroyed it, denying the queen of blades to assess the value of such prophecy.

As he travel deeper in the heart of the abyss, the Zerg attacked once more.

Now even the air was filled with Zerg scourge fliers.

Zeratul thought it was his doom, until pay bolts of plasma pierced the horde of Zerg at bay.

He glanced at the location and found a squad of Dark Templar Stalkers awaited him.

"For Shakuras! Greetings, Exalted one, we are from High Templar Karass expedition nearby."

"I thank you brothers, we must complete the prophecy before it's too late." Zeratul heart was touched. But even that faint hope is flickering in the darkness.

Now they delved into a part that the Zerg now infested the location heavily.

Spore crawler that detect his presence, Ultralisk and Hydralisk support patrolling the fragile cavern bridges.

Zeratul and his brethren managed to find the second glyphs that reveal the prophecy, untouched by outsiders since ancient times.

"The second fragment of the prophecy! My task is nearly complete." Zeratul felt his hope is growing ever closer.

Kerrigan spoke once more... This time it felt even more closer. Alexander felt Zeratul heart skipped a beat. As if he felt her presence beside him.

"Your hope is an illusion, old fool." Her voice now laced with toxin reverberate in the air.

"If you can so easily read my mind, Kerrigan, you'll see that I'll never give up so long as hope remains!" Zeratul mustered his courage... But as he delve deeper, the Zerg Infestation was so advance that now there was hives barring his way.

He saw the familiar war cry's of the Protoss warriors and found the expedition forces of High Templar Karass.

"En Taro Tassadar, Prelate Zeratul! I am High Templar Karass. My force tracked the Queen of Blades to this world, yet we know not what she seeks."

Zeratul shook his head as he spoke.

"Kerrigan and I were both drawn here to uncover an ancient prophecy. With your aid, I pray we can discover it before her."

Karass laughed.

"It is a honor, Great one, Lead on!"

With the might of the Protoss, and in safety of numbers, Zeratul managed to delve in the heavily fortified Zerg base that is defending last fragments of the Prophecy.

"The final piece of the prophecy. It speaks of one who shall "… break the cycle of the gods …" Zeratul touch the final glyphs.

Karass walked beside him.

"Most ominous. But if the Queen of Blades seeks this prophecy, we must keep it from her."

"Indeed, However... The rest of the prophecy is obscured...what?" Zeratul and the Protoss felt the ground quake.

This time, Kerrigan psychic words was so loud that it already felt like she was already nearby and this time she was not playing with him.

"You might peel away the prophecy's layers, Zeratul, but you cannot outrun the doom that awaits us all!" She gave a maniacal laughter as the swarm roared and the ground trembled towards the expedition.

Zeratul shadow blink to the highest vantage point and saw the massive swarm of monsters heading towards them. And Kerrigan is now leading towards the Expedition group.

He blinked back to High Templar Karass.

"We cannot prevail against so many!" He spoke.

Karass shook his head gently.

"I will stand against the Queen of Blades while you escape with the fragments!"

"I cannot abandon you, Karass!"

Karass hand touched on the shoulder of Zeratul.

"The prophecy is more important than either of us! Reveal its secrets, Zeratul! The future rests on it! Now Go!" Karass spoke as another part of the complex opened revealing that it lead outside.

Zeratul rushed as fast as he could, he could hear the war cries of his brethren and... Their screams.

His burden is too great. Too many were lost.

"I must get to the Void Seeker before the zerg overwhelm me and the prophecy is lost!"

The land tremble with such violence that the planet itself roared in anger for revealing its darkest secrets, nydus worms popped by the hundreds and Zerg swarm around him.

Zeratul saw what became of Karass.

Kerrigan managed to overpowered him and his throat is in Kerrigan hands.

She managed to Snapped his neck as she tossed his limp body for the Zerg to feast.

Zeratul heard his last words. Echoing in the darkness...

"Now … I shall become one … with the khala."

"Karass....thank you for your duty... May Aiur remember your duty..." Zeratul spoke.

He managed to arrive at his spaceship vicinity...

The Void Seeker. A Shakuras Exploratory vessel that was made specially for exploration... Now his liberation.

His Stalker brethren stood behind as he attempted to board the shuttle.

"Brothers, this place is enough for all of us!"

"Exalted one, we shall stand here long enough for the Zerg to be attracted by our defiance.... Go... You must find the truth." One of the stalkers spoke.

Zeratul felt his heard burden once more as he boarded his shuttle. As the Zerg fliers attempted to intercept his craft, the Stalkers fired upon the attackers, giving Zeratul time to escape.

As deep into the void.

Zeratul reflected upon many things...

"I cannot decipher the fragments on my own. Yet I know who might interpret them: the Preservers of Zhakul. If they cannot … I fear this entire universe will burn." Zeratul glance at the mirror of himself and it brought Alexander back to reality...

He was sweating as Kerrigan got a newer upgrade. As he smell the stench of chaos lingered around her.

It was one thing from seeing from a outside perspective... But doing it personally...

He have to do it four times... Or so he assumed that it would be similar.

"Let's see if this is similar to the original..." He muttered as he delve his mind into the fray.

This time he gotten used of possessing a body. Now he found that Zeratul was traveling for quite some time.

His injuries is healed as Zeratul placed some healing salve over his wounds.

"My quest to decipher the prophecy took me to the forbidden archive world of Zhakul." Zeratul spoke of his travel.

Alexander came to face a planet that was jungle like and filled with life.

"Here, the three immortal Preservers guarded ancient knowledge. Only they could transcribe the prophetic fragments. I needed to seek them out quickly." Zeratul monologue himself as to remind the supposed audience...

As Zeratul arrived on the planet.

It was filled with deadly silence.

There was no sounds of life flourishing as if the planet itself was just a plastic copy.

It was unnerving. That the Protoss that lived here was silent.

Even the military base was unpowered, as if... It was deliberately done.

"I believe that placing a few well placed pylon would do the trick."

A humming sound appeared from the void seeker and it revealed a emergency Protoss probe that was beeping its way to place the pylons.

The military base came to life... But the defenders within were in stasis.

After the first warrior arrived at the gateway.

Zeratul asked him.

"Warrior, what had transpired at this location?"

"Prelate Zeratul, I do not know, the High Templar gave the orders to all of us into stasis and only when the pylon is right... We would assist you."

Their question is halted as a Stalker approached them.

Zeratul felt something was off.

The stalker was infected by something... More malevolent. Something more... Corruption.

"Oh, false prophet, the Preservers served a higher power dark one. For Chaos is here. The dark gods are laughing at us insignificant." The stalker spoke.

And its blueish hue suddenly turned black and gold.

Before it could attack them.

The base defenses flared to life and disintegrated the attacker....

"How... Is this possible?"

"Believe me I want to know too." A unfamiliar voice spoke from the jungle and a metal like figure walked out with branches and leaves scattered on his shoulders.

The Zealot raised his psyblade at the intruder. But Zeratul halted him.

"What are you?" Zeratul spoke.

The figure ponder and gave his answer.

"I am a purveyor of History.... I am...Silver Skull."

"Well then Silver Skull. Do you know what happened here?" Zeratul asked.

"It happen about 5 month ago. I was conversing with a kind old librarian and this world was invaded by a unknown entity.

The leader of the planet decided to shut down one of the bases and I wander around... This planet would soon be under the empyrean ones... And I would like to form... A certain alliance."

"What kind?"

"You came to this world, for something... And I would like to know what you learn and in exchange I would gladly assist you for a short time.. seeing this is a historical event for my journey ahead. After all, I am a Archivist of History and it must be remembered."

"I never knew that deal was struck that it was a Ally of the Imperium... But when I saw the psychic scream of the Preservers and the seemingly possessed Protoss outnumbered remaining forces that I lead."

Zeratul watched over the Protoss base that was guarding the entrance of the preserver, corrupted by something...

Dark fumes of chaotic elements clouded the surrounding... But what came out, Alexander saw that it was a terrifying creatures walked out the dark fog....

It was a Amon Hybrid... But it was made of human flesh.

The sickly flesh pulsed with veins spat blood on the ground as the bones creaked and its more of its facial was covered in stream of blood. And above its head was a bloody crimson halo dripping with blood. And more came to join it.

Zeratul was scared... That is something not belong to this universe.

Zeratul warriors converge to the enemy.

Every slice of their blades only made it regenerate faster.

"What kind of abomination is this?" One of them roared as it raised it's bloody blade and cleave aside, before a series of bolts of entropic void energy slammed into the beast.

It howled in rage as it saw the direction where the attacks were sent.

A group of Stalkers and immortals took a second glance until they immediately open fire.

The monster screeched as it lunged towards the group. The stalkers teleported out of the charge, but the immortals hunkered down as they still fired at the crazed beast.

The monster howled as it raised a cleaver of flesh to ram into the beast.

The hardened shields prevented the fatal blow.

"Interesting... It seemed like they used human corpses..." Silver skull spoke.

Zeratul watched as his newfound companion reached at his waist and grabbed a cube...

"How can you assist us? Silver skull? You have not a army with you!" The zealot that stood beside Zeratul spat with vitriol.

"I always brought a army... About five of them. And this one... Is special." Silver skull chuckle as he opened the cube and in a glow of green light, a giant metallic construct came out.

Zeratul realize it was one of the Imperium Titans. And a large contingent of red robed draped around these Metallic men.

"Huh.... What the hell happened?" The voice from the titan boomed across the silent planet.

Silver Skull simply pointed at the abomination before them.

"Heresy!" Silver skull spoke as he pointed at the location of the Hybrids and the fallen Protoss base..

The blue eyes of the titan now glared in red as warhorn sounded and immediately unloaded its vast weaponry upon the Hybrids.

"For The Imperium! Annihilation of this abomination is permitted!"

The Hybrids roared as they began to attack the titan.

The red robed men hinder the abomination and the fallen Protoss with the sheer amount of plasma bolts at their wake .

"Now then... Why you search for any unpowered buildings... I would be distracting them long enough... I going to prepare something.... "

Silver skull muttered as he put his hands into a leather pouch and began to rummage through it.

As Zeratul rushed with his probe and make Plyons to activate the structures. And freeing the captives within...

Silver skull held up a portable pylon that was draped in runes and glyphs.

"Ah ha! A portable Necron Pylon! Just enough to pierced this region..." He glanced at the power cord that is limply hanging down.

"Oh...forgot the power source.... Would you kindly place a pylon here?" Silver skull gestured to the probe that was with him. It hummed as it began to materialize a pylon that gave him unlimited power.

He pressed a button and waited for a while as he take picture of the situation.

A flare of green and gold flush forth and swept across the jungle and the possessed Protoss base was engulfed in flames.

The defenders began to fought back the abominations. But little they can do as there was a Hybrid that was similar to Protoss colors commanding the monstrous creatures.

"Come, we must have that thing for my collection!" Silver skull spoke as he tossed the same device upon the one that controlled these monstrosities and in a green light it disappeared.

Zeratul was amazed of such a technology...

Alexander groaned that Trazyn was doing this stuff without him...

As the leader of these monstrosities disappeared, the ones that made of human flesh, became feral like. They attacked everything, including themselves.

It brought Zeratul and Silver skull forces to eliminate the Abomination and the Protoss that had these dark fumes emitted from their bodies.

As soon as the last abomination was defeated, the once possessed Protoss became mutated into different forms, even their mechanical constructs became infested.

It was the pylon that Silver skull that prevented their total infestation...

"Kill me!" One of the infested Protoss rasp as his body malformed and infested beyond control.

Zeratul put the end of the warrior.

"May you rest in peace..." Zeratul green blades turned the zealot into ashes. And the once silent wind carried its remains across the four corners of the globe.

"Well then... Let us meet with the Preservers... So that we shall end the madness." Zeratul spoke.

The force arrived at the temple. Or what's left of it.

Various human tools and giant vats filled with splattered blood lingered around the temple. Corpses of humans scattered across the peripheral surroundings.

Zeratul knelt to check one of the humans, whose wearing a lab coat.

Alexander saw the Mobius Foundation Logo.

He gritted his teeth.

As of now, Mobius foundation is Dominion...

And Officially Valerian sponsored organization.

He can't go gun blazing and simply said, that Chaos is already infested the organization... People wouldn't believe it.

And why did they reached deep in Protoss territory?

Zeratul arrived in the innermost depths of the temple and three Protoss encased in crystallized state faced a strange formation of sigils and blood...

He powered his psyblade and cracked the prison that held the Preservers.

The three of them gasp to life as the sunlight began to clung onto them and seep into the minds and perhaps their soul....

"Thank you, prelate.... We saw things....horrible things.." one of them spoke.

One that was more saner managed to speak.

"We have seen the prophetic fragments in your mind, Zeratul. We will make of them what we can." One of them held out it's hand and it spoke what Zeratul had seen in the caverns...

"The Cycle shall draw to its end. The Xel'Naga who forged the stars will transcend their creation … Yet, the Fallen One and the Outsider shall remains… Destined to cover the Void and Stars in shadow and flames… It begins with the Great Hungerer. It ends … in utter darkness."

Silver skull spoke.

"Great hungerer? What could it mean?"

Explosions and plasma bolts still lingers in the air as the Titan is still on the loose. Until Silver skull recalled them back.

"I think... I know something...It is the Overmind."

"Ah... So you must head to Aiur then..."

"You heard of that place?"

"I been there... before the fall... It was a nice place..."

"Will you be joining us?" Zeratul spoke as he held out his hand...

"For a while... I could say no... But I have some business there..." Silver skull answer as he shook hands with Zeratul..

Alexander gasp as he woke from the crystal. It made him remember something he forgotten long ago...

Fear.

Because he could sense something familiar.

This false imitation Amon hybrids used human corpses and clones to make it's structure.

And it held the powers of the warp and it was made by his blood when he fought Kerrigan during the brood war someone must have gathered a vial as its power is diluted...

Had Trazyn wasn't there... Zerathul would have been killed.

He was weary... But the next episode...

His mind is strained. But he must see it to the end.

"Aiur... This was the time we all sacrifice to deny the Overlord its final victory...or was it my fault that this abomination have been birthed into this galaxy?"

He recollected his thoughts as he dove into the crystal memories...

Zeratul spoke as if to assured the viewer.

"As we travel to the ruins of Aiur, the dead Carcass of the Overmind Is still heavily guarded by the feral Zerg, so many had lost their lives to defend the galaxy from that monstrosity... If I need to find the truth... It is there..."

Alexander now again awaken in Zeratul eyes.

He saw the aftereffects of the battlefield.

Aiur was scarred... But it stood strong.

Zeratul and his companion, silver skull arrived near the vicinity of the dead Overmind. Zerg fliers still lingered around the carcass.

Zeratul surveyed the landscape hoping to find anything.

"Wow... The Imperium sure did a number on the place..." His metallic companion spoke.

"You said that you been here .... Do you know anything that could help our current situation?"

"Well the last time I was here ... The locals didn't like me that they literally made automated defenses that is not connected to the power grid... And I think a part of it is close to the eastern part of the Overmind...

Perhaps a pylon or two can make it...

But if we want a more tangible assets... There is a abandoned Imperium Base located near the south.

The people there are long gone, but the automated defenses still intact. Maybe some men of iron that still inactive?" Silver skull pointed at the two general location.

Zeratul pondered

Both options are viable and can provide a distractions to the Zerg...

"I will take a probe and begin to activate the unpowered grids... Silver skull... You seemed to know about the imperium... More than you let on."

"I am but a humble archivist. I am a friend to the High Lord Alexander."

Zeratul shrugged.

"Let us begin... What are you doing Silver skull?" Zeratul exasperated as his companion found a giant cardboard box and covered himself with it as he slowly march to the abandoned Imperial base.

"I learn it from ancient lore..."

Zeratul managed to activate a part of the grid and the first thing it fired at the closest Zerg. Providing a distraction as photon bolts rained incessantly at the Zerg.

He managed to reached the first tendril.

Memories of the behemoth flooded his mind.

"The first Overmind tendril! I sense … pain. Surprise. Death." He released his hand...

The Zerg roared as it detected its intruder.

A great tremor as the land and the lakes nearby began to part and giant quad legged Mechs silently awoken and began to emit heat lances.

"These mighty colossi have come to aid me once more!" Zeratul watched in marvel as he rushed forwards and began to activate the pylons network that was damaged by the Zerg.

Warp Gateways that were underpowered during the evacuation now thrumming with life as the denizens that failed to evacuate within now began to assist the assault.

Their hopes and dreams now shoulder by the duo as Zeratul tried to find the last remaining tendrils that is pulsing with life....

And managed to gathered that the truth now lies in the cortex of the Overmind

Now heavily defended by the feral zerg that lingered around their dead master carcass.

The Aiur remnants and the Machine soldiers that was left in the abandoned Imperium Base now converge to distract the Zerg.

Zeratul ponder as he rushed past the Zerg and into the base of the Overmind... It was overwhelming to his eyes. As he rushed to the base he heard a voice...

"Greetings, brother. I speak to you … from the Beyond." Zeratul looked around and found that there was a familiar figure hovering above him...

His eyes widen as it was someone that he respected long ago...

"Tassadar! But … you died … slaying this cursed Overmind!" Zeratul spoke as he definitely saw the carrier crashed into the Overmind...

"I have never tasted death, Zeratul...nor shall I. But that is a tale for another time. I have come to tell you of this creature's … courage."

Zeratul can't believe the words this supposed Tassadar spoke.

"Courage? It was an abomination!" He yelled. Because all the lives lost because of that abomination before him...

Tassadar shook his head...

"Not always. The zerg were… altered beyond their origins. A single over-riding purpose was forced upon them, the destruction of our people."

Tassadar pointed to the creature below him.

"The Overmind was formed with thought and reason… but not free will. It screamed and raged within the prison of its own mind."

"Who did this? Why?"

Alexander knew who it is... But he prefer listening from the mouth of the figure that spoke from

"I know not. But the Overmind found a way to resist its all-consuming directive. It created a chance … a hope of salvation. The Queen of Blades."

Madness!

"Only she can free the zerg from slavery... and in so doing, save all that is… from the flame."

"I do not understand, brother." Zeratul is shocked.

"Forget what you know, Zeratul. The Overmind saw a vision … the end of all things. And now you must see it too.

Alexander focused his mind and foresaw the vision that was for the future.

In a unknown planet in a galaxy where the stars are blotted out from existence.

A massive Protoss fleet covered the planet and on the lonesome planet that is powered by a dying sun.

There was more Protoss than he could ever think of.

Billions of them armored in Warrior caste regalia and machines numbered in the trillions. Some that he could recognize from the brood war and those that is .

Alexander found himself akin to a ghost that was just a spectator of this final stand.

"Interesting is it not?" A voice spoken in the void.

Alexander stood silent as It continued...

"This is where two of the oldest races... End like this.... My Zerg is enslaved by a being beyond our comprehension... And what's left of the Protoss... A mighty stand... But a dying one... Terran have been consumed and it is a bitter joke..." The voice lamented.

"You... Are aware of me?" Alexander spoke

The voice chuckle...

"Why should I? I am but a mere fragment that pretend to be something important... Behold... This is the truth."

From the outer parts planetary system, beyond the sight of the Protoss space fleets, the Zerg leviathans and infested humans converge to the last defenses of the Protoss.

They blotted out the sun...

Infested Minotaur Battlecruisers rained their Yamato cannon at the fleet and amed themselves haphazardly to infest their targeted ships.

Alex eyes widen...

Within the mess of chaos and destruction...

He saw his ships in the mix...

And his eyes widen of the fact that his very own fleets infested by the Zerg breached the Protoss defensive lines.

Infested guardsmen and mechs were the first to drop from orbit and made a beachhead to the planet below.

Soon followed by the Zerg.

Alexander silently watch the destruction of the Protoss...

How each of their heroes died in open flame.

Zerg were driven to extinction as their master servants consumed them to make more and more of themselves... A sick joke of cloning that created in mere seconds.

Until he saw the finale.

One of Amon Hybrid held a human skull that held a halo above it.

And he instinctively know that thing was him...

It roar as it amplified it's psyker mind by using his skull and darkness consumed the world.

A malevolent voice differ from the one that Alexander heard spoke. One filled with pride and arrogance...

"I love it when a plan comes together."

The galaxy darkened as the last dying sun was snuffed out.

Alexander found himself in the office of the Hyperion... He already knows if he wanted Kerrigan dead. He couldn't.

The Galaxy needed a monster to kill a god.

He sat down and process what just happen..

He died in this place?

Sure, he was unbeatable in conventional warfare...

He realized that in somewhere near the future...

His enemy in the dark would strike.

He was like a king on a mountain... Everyone knows about... But not the Assassins in the shadows....

That's something he fear.

As he made his way to the cantina of the ship.

He found Raynor drinking.

He approached the bartender.

"what ya having boss?"

"A bottle of Amasec and a Mai Thai. And all drinks on me!"

The crew cheered as it was a rare sight that a emperor would mingle with the locals...

"So...you seen that memory shard Zeratul gave you huh?" Raynor spoke as he gestured the open seat beside him.

Alexander simply sat as he uncorked the bottle and drank it directly.

"Yes... Kerrigan and I must not die or the galaxy is doomed."

"How did that monstrosity managed to kill you, is something that is above my pay grade." Raynor swirl his glass.

"The future is not set in stone." Alexander spoke.

"How so? We literally got to witness that dead Overmind foresight!" Raynor yelled and everyone looked at the table he was on.

"But that's all it ever knows... Help would be coming soon."

"Well... Whatever the help you got... Hopefully it would turn the tide..." Raynor muttered as he gulped the last contents of his drink and exited the cantina.

Alexander arrived at the command deck of the Hyperion and inputted words in the communication panel..

"Relay all command that is in the reserves.

Prepare invasion of Char upon the last artifact in the Hyperion secured."

[Rant incoming, otherwise wait for the next chapter]

(A/n): sorry for the blackout.

I...just have time to tune out from the internet and do some reflection.

I just... Never felt so alone.

When the news of Charlie Kirk flood into my country.

My editor that was in US kinda gone bonkers. Causing a fallout and making my work very late.

I just can't believe how much monsters and demons in human skin that walked among us.

Before, I have some qualm of Having China having Democracy. But seeing how the democrats, the left side of the aisle is so deranged and insane.

It made me a believer that Liberal democracy is dead. The examples is walking and showing on tik tok and YouTube.

If the original intent of democracy was the will of the people, the one that is responsible and stewards of their future...

Then why did the west allowed demons, mentally deranged and monsters to partake the destiny and fate of nations?

Why vote for murderers and psychopaths to a higher station? While they sold your country piece by piece and have so many defenders protecting them?

If someone compared me to the western left.

I am different because, I do have some soul left in me. I didn't cheer for a man that willing to talk.

I only enjoyment of capital punishment I have for criminals that actually a pdf and murderers.

Why FBI have a list of child molester that grows every year and never smoke them bastards?

Because they called it "human" and they just need time to "reform" how they normalized criminal behavior and despise good deeds.

Heck he was the better president material for America. I would love to see him debate and question US allies without bias.

I seen the darkness what society ignored. The problem that swept by the rug, and the consequences.

Nobody even bother Myanmar civil war, Cambodia child prostitution and slave trade.

And the west handed their own ropes.

Two trillion British pound to Palestine? Does the Lion of the sea can even afford that?

The ones that made laws about "saving the chidlren" doesn't actually cared about the children that is lost and twisted.

It's always Israel vs Palestine, or Ukraine and Russia. Oh let's look at the recent wars than what been brewing since I was just in elementary.

I saw it on the ground, saw the madness firsthand in the green hell of a jungle. Powerless to handle the reality before me. A insignificant person in a cog from a dying system that pretends to be great.

Democrats ruined their image. And their false concerns about bringing the people together is a joke. I seen their videos.

How they want to punch others behind the gym. How they want to "reap the whirlwind" how they fear monger to the point that it made that man to shoot his gun at the presidential candidate.

If he is not dealt with the full punishment of the law. It would incentivized more to copycats him to attack the rest. Because the law is a joke.

Bullets are cheaper than spending taxpayer dollars to lit up his solitary confinement and feeding him slop.

And he doesn't deserve a burial. He is already 21, he is already a legal adult that know his choices.

If someone called me heartless.

Tell me, why are you so suicidal emphatic to a murderer?

Why the media portrayed him as far right?

When all I see is a indoctrination of the youth.

I know I am not clean.

I commit smuggling for food and electronics because china food is getting worse and expensive, but I know I go to hell, if I smuggle drugs and mail order brides. That old profession is morally grey.

Western prison is a joke. All it takes is a crime and they get free food, a roof and a gang to be in and you learn more in jail than what High school and College teach you..

College in America is equal to indoctrination camps. Socialist Professors stuck to a ideal that is so toxic that it infested the youth.

There is no point of liberalism, if it just encourage demons in human skin, terrorist that hide behind free speech and fanatic zealots that worshipping this ideology as god and hunt those that criticize it as heretics. What's the point of having a discussion?

Note: For the reader that was upset that... didn't ended up in the Starships Troopers book, I am Sorry, I read the Starships Troopers book.

And I went further than the director of the movie.

The book neglected one thing.

It came from a time when there was still hope for the future.

Ignoring how modern technology affected the people mindset and human incentives.

And it accelerated moral decay to the point that people worshipping demons and cults.

How Human Ambition and ego can force a good ideology to be tattered. Regardless if you use discipline.

The movies were right for the wrong reasons.

Sooner or later any form of restraint that their ancestor would placed be chipped by people that didn't felt from the dark history their forbearer witness.

They would do it again to feel the pain.

See the current USA, when one side tried to abide the constitution, tried to be civilized, their opponent use it as toilet paper because it means nothing to them as it prevents them from getting more power.

But when it came swinging. They cried out for free speech and appeal to your emotions, knowing they called for death, cancellation and censorship for 15 bloody years in the open.

Aren't they just demons in reality?

Sky marshal Omar from Starship trooper 3, The one that almost sold the Federation to the bugs, is a example how much people can allow him to infiltrate the heart of the government. All because he made them feel good. Instead of bringing victory.

Book time:

And if you wonder why It forced to become a Proto-imperium from a Federation.

Simple. Human Envy, fear of him become more of a thorn and hatred from the masses that hated Alexander for achieving victories.

And add Chaos into the Mix that infiltrated other religion people believed in, thinking that Alexander was the devil himself...

All of the chaos prince daemons pretending to be the angels and prophets, telling the masses that Their Sky Marshal was the evil incarnate and they would go to heaven if they done killing him so.

A Nurgle Plague Lord pretending to be Buddha is a nightmare.

So the Federation Of United Citizen ended up like the Age of Strife except bugs and more religious terrorism and less men of Iron.

Had it didn't turned into a civil war, Alexander would be fine being the sky marshal.

As he was the symbol of victory. He would prefer to be just a Director of the M.a.r once his term ended and did his duty. Now burden of leading a ruined federation.

Humanity failed the rubicon. They chained themselves in religion that is infiltrated by chaos and they paid the price. And in their paranoia affirm his beliefs that the system is broken.

Fun fact:

The underworld in the federation have a unspoken rule of not targeting Alexander Solair Family.

They can use politics, tariffs or even personal assassinations on Alexander, but if they harmed his family, their homes, friends and even their own hometown is burn to death, even death is not the end. With the thousand sons... You better wish for death than being a test subject of a very curious Thousand son meddling with souls.

Seeing his father died because he tolerated the minority religions that is not emperor approved.

Isn't it ironic.

The Emperor of Mankind Father was killed by his Uncle, a part of his family.

Alexander father was killed by a person of the Federation, the system that he tried to protect.

Alexander never did dissolve or dismantle the Mobile Infantry and the Navy. Perhaps some lingering attachment to his biological father wish.

That is the tldr compressed form wtf happen.
