'Oh my God, is that who I think it is', she thought, her heart started to beat fast and her breath getting heavier. Her heart clenched in pain. Beatrix and the guy walked closer to them and she introduce the new guy.
"Guys, this is Ian, he is new here, Ian, these are my friends, Lily, Marcel and Martha", she said while pointing to them.
"Hi, I am Ian, nice to meet you, I hope we would get along", Ian greeted with a warm smile showing off his dimples.
"Same here", Martha replied warmly.
Marcel didn't speak, he just nooded because he is a person of few words, he doesn't like to talk that much.
Lily was still in daze that this cheater had actually enrolled in the same school as hers, her heart was burning with hatred, anger and sadness. she felt like ripping him into pieces but she didn't want to make a scene, she had to quench her anger and make a fake face.
"Yeah, nice to meet you", she said through her gritted teeth and fake smiled.
Ian chukled seeing how she was pretending not to know him and how she was also restraining herself from trashing him, so he played along.
"You must be Beatrix's best friend, you look beautiful", Ian flirted smoothly.
His action made Lily to cring, and the anger in her chest grew, she wished she could just stab him in the neck, she just had to deal with him 'nicely'.
"Eh, Lily are you okay", Martha asked sounding concerned because she was looking she was holding herself back from doing something.
"Am fine, no worries", she beamed.
"Oh, ian we should totally go to our first period together since we are having the same class", Beatrix suggested with her twinkling eyes.
"Yeah, that would be cool", Martha said causally. While Marcel and Lily nodded.
While Ian, Beatrix and Martha were at the front, Marcel and Lily were behind them chatting.
"So, how was you 'talk' with Beatrix, did it go well?", Lily asked, wriggling her eyebrows and poking his arm.He sighed" it didnt go well 'cause I was interrupted by a lunatic", he sighed again and said "I was this close to tell her but it was ruined and that lunatic almost beat me up".
"Buhahahahah", Lily laughed until she couldn't breath anymore and tears coming out of her eyes.
"Its not funny", Marcel said through his gritted teeth and clenched his hand into a fist.
"Okay, i won't laugh, its just that you actually almost got beaten by a guy when you're confessing to a girl that you like", she said and bursted into laughter again.
"Okay, okay, very funny, haha", Marcel said sarcastically while imitating Lily.
"Who's that guy anyway?", Lily asked.
"Its Liam", Marcel answered, glancing down because Lily's height only reached his shoulder, but her height is considered tall for a woman.
"That guy in your basketball team", Lily asked glancing up to his face.
"Yeah, the best player in our team", he answered casually, ruuning his hand through his hair.
"So, you gonna confess again", she asked again, stop on her tracks, clasp his arms and glance up at his face.
"I don't know, Lily am scared, what if I lose her? I dont want to", he said with a broken voice.
"You will be fine", she said, rubbed his back and pushed him into class"leggo in".
They all went into the class and took their seats but unluckily for Lily she had to seat with that water brain Ian.
"Hey*, Ian greeted her.
"Dont talk to me", she said coldly, setting her textbooks on her desk.
"Oh, feisty", he said teasingly.
"What do you want Ian", she asked with an expressionless face.
"Nothing, just wanna know how you have been doing", he asked as his lips curled up into a smirk.
"How i have been is none of your concern", she cut him off coldly once more.
The teacher came in to teach and all the students comport themselves.
During the class, Lily couldn't focus because she was distracted by Ian. All what she was thinking were ways to rip his head off.
Finally, she survived all the classes without murdering anyone, after the class before lunchtime ended she quickly went to water fountain to drink water because all those thought had made her very thirsty.
"Ahh!", Lily screamed when she suddenly bumped into a muscular chest.
She rubbed her nose and looked up "Oh, do you have to scare me like that!",she said very annoyed.
"Sorry, didnt mean to scare or hurt you",Alex said gently and rubbed her nose.
"Ah, do you want to break my nose", she said in pain.
"Sorry, I didnt mean to apply that much pressure", he said again feeling flustered. The way she pouted and how her nose is red made very cute, he couldn't help but pinch that nose again.
"Ouch, quit hurting my nose", she said and slapped his hand away.
"You look cute I couldn't help but pinch that nose", he teased.
Her ears turned red when she heard Alex calling her cute.
Hmph.
She stormed off, leaving Alex behind.
"Daisy, wait up", Alex shouted in the hallway running after Lilly.
"Its LILY!", she shouted at him, turned back and walked away angrily.
All the students hanging around the hallway were stunned to see this kind of interaction between Alex and Lily 'cause Alex is always cold toward girls he doesn't even associate himself with girls but ignores them instead, every one thought he was Gay. So they were stunned.
In no time, Alex And Lily's bickering had been captured and posted on the school forum. It became a very hot topic.
Alex and Lily were unaware about what's going on, Alex followed her to were she was going and tried to stop her from walking anymore.
"I just wanna tell you something", Alex said as he gasped for air.
"What?", she asked, crossing her arms over her chest.
"I just wanna invite you to my game", Alex said, moved closer to her and said" its this weekend".
"Why?" she asked as she tilted her head.
"What you mean why, 'cause you're my friend", he replied with his hands over his hips and he poked her forehead.
"When did I become your friend", she asked, glancing up to his face.
"Since you shared your chocolate bar with me", he replied, glancing down at her and pinch her cheek
"But I dont consider you my friend", she said.
"Well you can start now", he said with a smile.
"I dont want you to be my friend", she pouted with her cheeks all puffed.
"Why?", he asked again, restraining himself from pinching those cheeks.
"Because I dont want the girls in the school to rip me in half", she said, making an attempt to leave.
He drew her back with her bag, bent to her height, looked into her brown eyes and said "but at least come to my game, please".
He asked pitiful, she couldn't bear to turn him down, he might be a jerk but he still a person with feelings.
"Ok, fine, I will come", she said helplessly.
"Really", his blues eyes twinkled, he smiled and hugged her.. He pulled away from her and said "see you at weekend, bye", he smiled and waved.
Lily froze when Alex hugged her, she couldn't understand what he was saying after that until he left. She was brought into reality when someone called.
"Lily!", someone from afar called.
