Silas tightened his lips, and his face turned even colder. He rubbed his aching forehead, feeling the residual pain from last night.
This strange feeling that Yue Ran gave him made him feel uncomfortable, and what he hated the most was when things went out of his control.
Yue Ran saw him rubbing the area between his brows and thought that Silas had a headache again. Thus, she stood up from the chair and sat down on the edge of the bed with gentle and skillful movements, as if she had done this a thousand times and it had been ingrained in her bones. Her actions blatantly showed that she simply wanted to relieve the man's pain.
"You keep frowning; is your head hurting again?" Yue Ran asked, her eyes full of concern. "Then let me rub it for you."
