"That's quite strange."
Losa watched the departing figure of the Wolf Race girl and thought that when he met Chelina, he should properly inquire about this princess from the Saluzzo Family.
Hans stared watchfully at the Wolf Race girl's back until her bicycle-riding figure completely vanished from sight, then asked, "Mr. Kurs, has this woman been hiding nearby all along?"
"It seems that way."
Kurs smiled wryly; he hadn't sensed the presence of the Wolf Race girl at all. He knew who she was—the heir to the future Clan Leader of the Saluzzo Family. If she had her full strength, it would be impossible for a junior like her to hide so well before him.
Losa laughed lightly, "No need to be so tense. She's Chelina's friend. She shouldn't have malicious intent toward us."
Hans and Kurs exchanged glances. Sometimes, whether or not there's malicious intent isn't as important as whether there's the ability to act on malicious intent.
"Sir, you've become more powerful now."
