"What happened to you?"

Losa looked across at Jeanne, whose figure had become semi-transparent, her burning golden Holy Flame reduced to a faint glow, and there was a hint of tenderness in his eyes.

"It's nothing, I've had experience with burning before."

Jeanne managed to lift the corners of her mouth, but her furrowed brows betrayed the difficulty of her current situation.

"I shouldn't have appeared in front of you at this time."

"I originally wanted to die heroically like a Warrior at the last moment or secretly choose a corner that wouldn't bother anyone, waiting to be burnt to ashes."

"But I'm feeling so cold."

"Cold as if I've been thrown naked into a snowfield."

She raised her hands in a gesture of embrace, and Losa quickly pulled her into his arms—she had become very light, almost weightless, and her body was as soft as a bunch of cotton, with the remnants of the golden Holy Flame still burning on her, releasing barely any heat.

"Am I like a burnt-out candle now?"
