The sound was eerily familiar, just like Qilan.
Cao Shiyu stared in horror, it couldn't possibly be Ye Qilan. Under the blazing sun, how could Ye Qilan appear? Even if he were a ghost, shouldn't he only show up at night?
It took some time for Cao Shiyu to gather her courage, hearing Ye Qilan's voice repeatedly in her ears, before she walked out of the bathroom and into the bedroom.
The sound was coming from the computer. Her legs trembling, she approached the computer and upon confirming that the person speaking was indeed Ye Qilan, she nearly lost her footing.
"Cao Shiyu, are you satisfied with the gift I gave you?" The man on the screen looked at Cao Shiyu with a cold expression, his voice chilling as iron.
Who else could that face belong to, if not Ye Qilan?
"Fourth... Fourth Brother?" It took Cao Shiyu a while to find her own voice.
Was this really Ye Qilan? Wasn't he dead? Why was he appearing on her computer, and having a video call with her?
