Little Pudding had tired himself out in the morning and fell sweetly asleep in Su Hongxing's arms after dinner and once they were in the car.
Ye Qilan simply drove to the riverside, and said to Su Hongxing, "Get out of the car, I have something to tell you."
Su Hongxing did not respond and held onto Little Pudding without letting go.
"Do I need to 'invite' you out of the car by force?!" Ye Qilan said as he pulled the car door open.
Su Hongxing still sat unmoved and silent. Her indifference only fueled Ye Qilan's frustration more. He approached, wrestled Little Pudding out of Su Hongxing's arms with so much force that the child woke up. Recognizing it was Ye Qilan, Little Pudding called out softly, "Daddy," and then snuggled back into Su Hongxing's arms to continue sleeping.
