-Allan's POV-
"Allan, it's my birthday next week. Will you come home by then? I want to celebrate it with you." I was about to reply to her but before I could speak, she speak first. "Alright it's decided, you must come, if not, Hehehe~." Then she hang up.
I look at the blank screen of my phone before putting it down at the table while massaging my temples because of the headache my sister is giving me.
She will turn 24 next week yet she's still so childish, still I couldn't... Sigh, I could only sigh like this.
Suddenly the door of my study room suddenly opened and a cheerful young man appeared. "Oh my, Our Allan was feeling troubled today HAHAHAHA." He closed the door then walk towards the sofa and lie down leisurely, as if it's his own room and not Allan's.
I look at this cheerful friend of mine expressionlessly before going back to work.
My friend suddenly sits up and look at me before picking up an apple on the basket at the table near him and take a bite. "Allan, tonight is our performance." He paused and take a bite again at the apple before continuing. "I was thinking if you could come and watc-." Before he could continue, I reject him almost instantly.
"No, I don't have time for tonight. My schedule is full so I couldn't come." I didn't even give him a glance while talking. My eyes was focus on my work.
"Aghh, you're schedule is always full. Can't you make a time for your only friend?." He was still eating that apple leisurely, not minding that his friend rejected him and can't watch his performance tonight.
Actually he doesn't even need to know if he had time to watch him perform, because he knew that his friends time and schedule was always occupied by work, work, and work.
I glance at my friend, Harryl, who was eating the apple before saying. "Harryl you should go back now. You and your team need to be ready for tonight." Then I get back on working.
Harryl, after finishing eating his apple and tossing it to the trash can stand up and was preparing to leave but stopped and look at me. "Celine's birthday is next week right?." Hearing this, I look at him before nodding and get back to work.
Harryl was deep in thought for a while before saying goodbye and left.
Now I was the only one left in my study room. I stopped working and make a distance from my desk before standing up and walk towards the coffee machine to make some coffee.
After a while, the coffee was finish and I picked it up before going back to my chair.
I sip at the coffee and was suddenly deep in thought. 'My sister's birthday is approaching and I don't have time for the past few days and maybe next week. Maybe I should buy her some gifts and deliver it to her.'
With that thought, I drink more coffee before standing up and picking my coat and left the room.
While walking in a corridor, I make a call to my assistant, asking him to wait for me outside with a car then I hand up.
I continue to walk all the way outside, not minding the greetings of the maids, just a nod.
When I was outside, I saw the black car parked outside the gate, with my assistant standing beside the car, waiting for my arrival.
Soon, I was in the car while my assistant sit beside the driver then he turned around to ask me where I was going. "President, where should we go?."
"H & Q Mall." Just that simple reply and they nod before starting the car and left.
I close my eyes and waited for the car to arrive at our destination.
About 15 minutes later, the car was already parked at VIP section and I opened my eyes just to see my secretary getting down the car and going to my side to open the door.
I step out of the car and look around for a while and saw a white car parked at the other side. I raised an eyebrow before going back to normal and continue looking around.
After look for a while, a started walking towards the mall, followed by my assistant and a few bodyguards who secretly followed me but I didn't mind, after all this always happen anytime I'm going out and I'm used to it.
Inside the mall, the first thing I heard was a noise of the crowd but it stopped the moment I step in and all the people were looking at us.
I was used to this situation and my face was expressionless so no one would see anything at my face, except for my handsomeness.
I ignored the crowd and continue walking until I arrive at the jewelry shop at the second floor.
I know this jewelry shop. It's the only shop that was selling real diamonds. As for the reason I know this shop, my sister would sometimes come here to buy a set of earrings and bracelet.
I step inside and the moment I step in, the people that was buying something turned to look at him. It couldn't be helped, because the noise behind him was too attractive so naturally, many people would look over to know what was going on.
But upon seeing me, it's as if they'd seen a ghost and they immediately left the shop, joining the screaming crowd outside.
I didn't mind them. I just look around before walking towards the sofa and sat down. Not long after, the manager heard the commotion and immediately showed up and entertain me.
"President Jones, what a fortune of our 'Ell Jewelry' to welcome you here today." He smiled at me with a fawning look.
I just look at him expressionlessly before saying. "Give me the best earrings and bracelet you have."
The manager was stunned before he recovered his composure and he was delighted. He immediately ordered someone to get want I want and ask me more questions if I need something before he walk away.
At this moment, a woman step in, followed by an assistant.
The woman look around for a while before walking towards me then she sit at the sofa at other side with a calm look.
I look at the woman, stunned. The woman has white hair and a beautiful face. He was wearing a oversized shirt with a big word 'Freedom' on it, paired with a shorts that almost can't be seen if you at her from behind, fortunately she tuck in the shirt at the front.
The woman was beautiful, especially her blue eyes that seems to be sparkling. She seems to be wearing an earbuds, listening to some music.
At this moment, I heard the woman talking and I was attracted by her pleasant and beautiful voice.
"Get me some beautiful bracelet and earrings you have." Then the assistant do the instructions and left.
Then the woman look at me for a while then nod before she closed her eyes and ignored me.
I was stunned at her ignoring me. It's my first time being ignored by a woman like this and for some reason I felt irritated. Although the woman was beautiful, I saw many beautiful woman almost everyday but when I look at this woman, she seems to be more beautiful the those ladies who's always in party.
For some reason I felt attracted and it's the first time I was like this and a strange feeling arose in my heart. I don't know what it was but since the woman was ignoring everything around her, I decided to completely ignore this woman.
Making up my decision, I leaned back and rest my back while looking at the woman.
At this moment I was stunned, didn't I just said to myself that I should ignore this woman? Then why am I still looking at her?
Shaking off my head, I closed my eyes and tried resting but the woman's face was popping up in my mind.
That white hair that looks like a light in the dark and her expressionless face. I opened my eyes and look at the woman deeply.
I don't know what's wrong with me and it's the first.
Feeling irritated, I was ready to stand up but the assistant that the manager instruct earlier came back holding a large back containing a lot of earrings and bracelet on it.
The assistant place the box at the side and started taking them one by one and placing them at the table in front of me.
After a minute, all the things was all place at the table and the assistant slowly stood up and retreat.
I look at the bracelet and earrings on the table then at the woman who was resting at the other side. For a moment, a ridiculous thought appeared in my mind. 'Does she look beautiful if she something like this?'. And it made me shock as I hurriedly cleared my thoughts.
I don't dare to look at the woman again, thinking that she's bewitching me and it made my face turned cold.
I seriously thought about it, maybe she's also like those women who was trying to attract my attention?
Thinking of this, my mood turned to worse and I couldn't pick what to gift to my sister.
At this moment, a cheerful voice sounded and it startled me for a bit. I look up and found a woman carrying a plastic bag with a brand of SSS on it and knew that she must be some kind of rich lady.
I heard her shouting, seems to be calling for someone. "Oh my god, Silvia where are you?." Then she walked around until she reach our place.
She look at me and I look at her but she quickly avert her gaze and look at the woman opposite me. Then i heard her scream then she started shaking the woman, she didn't even forget to talk loudly. I just sit at my seat, watching this two woman communicate.
"Sill, why didn't you wait for me? Are you abandoning me now? * fake sob sob*." She even act like she has tears on her eyes. Meanwhile the woman that was resting opened her eyes and take off her earbuds and look at the woman who was acting in front of her.
"Drop the act, you're so bad at acting that it was so obvious." The woman that was resting, Silvia, said almost rolling her eyes at her friend.
The woman was stopped by her act before standing up and placing her bags at the side before sitting beside Silvia and look at her in the eyes. "Sill tell me, am I that bad at acting?." Silvia rolled her eyes at her and didn't bother answering her questions.
I was amused at this two arguing at each other, I even forget what am I here for.
Soon, another assistant came to them and give them some set of bracelet and earrings and place it at their table.
I heard the other woman talk to the woman named Silvia, in a dissatisfied tone. "Sill, are you buying something like this again? Why didn't you tell me? Aren't you going to buy me too?." However Silvia ignored her.
This woman named Silvia is the one that was bewitching me has quite an interesting friend.
I saw her pick up a silver butterfly earrings. She look at it intently before trying it and look at the mirror.
When she tried the earrings, her looks seems to be upgraded and she looks more stunning. 'That butterfly earring was perfect for her', I thought.
This time I completely lost it, I was enchanted by her beauty and my eyes can't leave her face until she look at me in the eyes.
That clear blue eyes that was shining was looking at me deeply and calmly but she quickly look broke the eyes contact.
Like a string that seems to be cut, I finally look away from her. I look at the bracelet and earrings in front of me and I was about to say that I'll buy this, the woman opposite me suddenly buy everything she tries, including the butterfly earrings.
They pay for it and quickly left, not looking back, and gradually their back was drown by the crowd.
My brows knitted looking to their direction before I finally buys all I order and pay them, then left.
Soon, we're back to the parking lot and I notice that the white car earlier was gone and I concluded that the two woman must be the owner of the car.
I was lost in thought for a while before getting in the car while my assistant place the things at the back quickly then he sit at his seat in the front, then the driver start the car and we left the Mall, heading back to my villa.
All the way back, I was lost in thought while looking at the window. I don't know what I was feeling at the moment, I couldn't describe it and I don't know what it was.
Then suddenly that woman's face show up in my mind again. At this point I might become crazy.
Soon, we arrive at the villa and I quickly got off the car and enter the house, not bothering about the stunned secretary who just got off the car.
I immediately go to the study and sit at the chair to calm myself, still that woman's indifferent face keeps showing up.
"AHHH!! I must've gone crazy." Looking around, I could only drink the coffee that I left earlier and surprisingly it made me calm down.
Now thinking straight, I feel a headache coming. With bloodshot eyes, I rubbed my temple while mumbling. "You're making me crazy, I should get you."
Then he leaned back and sigh, looking at the ceiling blankly. I didn't really know what to do.
