"Is this the boy's universe?"
The black screen popped out another message: "Yes."
"Then...why do I feel so weak?"
"You are a baby."
Feeling his eyes itch, Jin opened them on instinct and saw nothing but darkness. This was usual as he would not turn on his lights at night, so he could save money, and it has driven him a bit crazy, as he doesn't like the dark.
Looking around, he could not see anything, but he could outline the room. It was pitch black, as if no light could escape, and he assumed he was on a bed, as his back was not on solid ground.
Next to the bed were a chair and a desk. Suddenly, the lights opened, and Jin saw his cell door open; the door was prison-like. He watched as he saw a few doctors come i,n and then he saw...him
Jonah Vogelbaum looked exactly as the show depicted. Jin was about to curse whatever deity sent him here, but he couldn't complain as he got to live again, and in a universe where he kind of knew some stuff.
He only watched a few episodes of The Boys and dropped it after realizing it was too gruesome for him. He has a general idea of the story as he watches it through YouTube shorts and summaries.
He watched as Jonah began to look over him and smile, "Good, it seems he has opened his eyes, and is watching us?"
Jin was a bit scared as he didn't even realize he was watching Jonah, and he quickly began crying to throw off his suspicions. 'This is gonna be a fucked up life,' thought Jin as he then saw a mission.
A silver panel appeared in front of him that read: "Endure 100 bullets and gain a random power from the multiverse, Y/N?"
Jin was shocked on the inside, because what the f*ck is that mission? "What happens if I refuse?"
The silver panel wrote out a message: "If you refuse, you will have to wait two years for another mission, and the more you reject, the longer the time will extend."
"F*ck, what if I die?"
"Then, you die."
"Screw you!"
"No thanks."
Cursing the system in his mind, he could hear that they were pushing him into another room where there was the smell of blood and metal. "Okay, now, we will test his durability, don't go too hard; we still don't know his powers yet or what he has."
"How hard is too hard?" asked a doctor picking up a scalpel.
Jonah smirked, "Nothing above 50 caliber."
The doctors gulped and nodded as the guards began to hand them weapons of all sorts. Machetes, pistols, flamethrowers, etc.
For 10 hours, they tried to shoot him, stab him, burn him, electrocute him, but he would not cry as they didn't even penetrate his outer skin. "God dammit! How tough is his skin? We can't even shoot inside of his mouth."
The silver panel lit up and turned green as it read: "Congrats on surviving, you will now get a random power from the multiverse."
Jin was so scared at first, but then, he realized that they couldn't even penetrate his outer skin. Sighing heavily inside, Jin couldn't do anything as he couldn't even control his muscles yet.
At least he was durable, or so he thought...
The next thing they tested was drugs and poisons; they all looked at the newborn with complicated eyes. Injecting over 100 drugs and poisons into him, they found that he was getting weaker and weaker to the point where they could cut him.
The next 10 hours were excruciating, but luckily, he had dealt with torture before, but not as a f*cking baby. All the doctors heard was his wailing as his body was being tortured, and they had tears falling from their eyes.
Surprisingly enough, he can regenerate if given the time, as his body grows back in a few minutes. The doctors sigh and write down everything.
After finishing the session, the doctors all went to Jonah and gave them his reports, then they committed suicide, every single one of them.
The guilt of hurting a baby was too much.
Jonah scoffed at them and hired new doctors, who were a bit crueler than he was. The next few days, they tested everything on him, radiation and viruses, but they only weakened him, not hurt him severely.
Every day, Jonah would watch the baby as they discovered new things about him. He could release a scream so loud that it could pop people's heads off. So, Jonah installed soundproof walls in his cell and wherever he was.
They also taped his mouth shut with a gag, as they only allowed a tube to enter to give him food.
4 years later...
A small child was fighting against grown men, and holding his own until they started to shoot at him with Desert Eagles, dodging each one of them with his 3 tomoe-Sharingan. The child picked up some pebbles and threw them with such force that the air lit on fire as it made impact with their skulls.
Nodding satisfactorily, Jonah came in with his clipboard and ruffled Jin's hair. Jin has grown over the two years has grown, into 3'5, and with a lean build.
"Good job, boy, I will give you treats as I promised."
Nodding, Jin liked it when Jonah ruffled his hair, even if he knew it was to make him think of him as a father; he didn't care.
Two guards came in and escorted Jin to his cell, which was pitch black. Sitting on the bed, Jin was accustomed to the dark, but sometimes he would have nightmares of that day...
Shaking the thoughts out of his head, Jin looked at the powers he had gained over the years.
Superhuman condition - Superhuman in all aspects physically
Sonic Screech - A screech/scream that can surpass supersonic speeds
Sharingan - The famous eye of the Uchiha Clan
Lightning Affinity - Lightning affinity from Naruto
Luck - Luck increases when in a lot of pain
Some of the powers adapted to his universe, allowing Jin to use Lightning without chakra, but he still has a limit. The missions were quite annoying and hard; one of them that gave him the Sharingan was the first mission.
The second one, where he got the Lightning affinity, had to hold his screams of pain when they tortured him for 10 hours.
The third power, he got when he survived a nuke...
Flashback:
"Sir, he is only 1 and three months old."
Jonah looked at the doctor coldly, "This is an order of the higher-ups, so shut up and release the nuke on him."
The doctor gritted his teeth and pressed the button, as in the middle of a desert, Jin was in a crib until he felt immense pain and heat climbing and boiling his skin. Releasing a scream so loud that the earth heard it, it pushed away the nuke's explosion into the atmosphere. Jin, after releasing so much power, fell asleep immediately.
He was burned badly, but his regeneration seemed to be getting stronger, as after 1 hour, he fully recovered.
A devilish smirk appeared on Jonah's face, "YES, HE IS THE ONE!"
After that day, Jonah began to make his move on Jin, to make him rely on him.
Flashback ends.
Sitting on a chair in a pitch-black room that was his home, he heard the door open, and a package was set in front of his door. Smiling, Jin went to the package and opened it. Pulling out the contents of the package, it was an Ultraman action figure.
"Newly made Ultraman 2090 action figure, YES!" shouted Jin, making the room shake a little, holding his mouth in an oops, he put the action figure next to the other action figures that contained Hulk, Spiderman, Goku, etc.
Jin then began to play in the dark, making the action figures fight each other as if it were a war. Having so much fun, Jonah watched his behavior and wrote down in his notes, "It seems he is growing more and more dependent on me, which is good since the other one has begun to show resentment and is showing itself of becoming a disappointment."
