Continuing to ascend the cramped and restrictive staircase,
the sense of oppression brought about by this threshold space was quite significant. After roughly ten floors, both William and Catherine felt somewhat uneasy, as if a weight was pressing on their chests.
Still, they clenched their teeth and continued upward, but after climbing a full thirty floors, they still could not reach the rooftop.
"This is fucking suffocating!"
Unable to hold back any longer, William cursed. In his normal state, merely by utilizing the Madness Brain, he would have been able to quickly permeate the current staircase and identify the problem. Now, however, he was helpless.
"Hahaha~" Catherine covered her black lips, unable to suppress her laughter, "So you have moments like this too, William~ Seeing you like this makes this nightmarish trip totally worth it.
If you can't get out of the staircase, what are you going to do?"
