The film crew's base area was large, but for Yi Chen, finding where the mask was hidden wasn't too difficult. He just needed to move closer to areas where no crew members were active and where the surveillance density was higher to find the right direction.
Of course, this process had to be completely confidential.
Miles' mask, as a remnant of the former Tenth Disaster and the core of the crew, was certainly under surveillance at all times, and any slightest disturbance would be detected.
If Yi Chen wanted to meet the mask in advance, he'd need to show real stealth abilities while also creating an alibi.
He first went to a deserted corner.
