Chapter 3 - 3 New Life Begins [Edited]

[POV]

Date and Time unknown

After Minerva informed me, I quickly rushed to my quarters to tidy myself up.

The quarters of the captain of the ship were quite large comparable to a five-star hotel apartment.

It has everything you would need a kitchen, living room, bath a bedroom with a king-size bed and a huge wardrobe which was my goal.

Luckily, I ordered some personal to transfer all my goods to my apartment before we took off.

As such all my military and civil clothes are stored here.

I skimmed trough some military uniforms and changed into a uniform for a general I personally designed. I replicated quite a lot of military officer uniforms from different countries, but if I had to say the old Germans officer uniform was the one I liked the most because of its style.

As I was adjusting my uniform and looking into the mirror on the side, I couldn't help but burst out into joy.

Because I had transmigrated as my in-game character which was quite handsome with God-like shaped face, scarlet red eyes and silver hair which gives me a dangerous and majestic aura befitting of me, if I do say so.

Also, because I played around a lot with the genes of my character making him more robust, sturdy and the most important part for me was the higher life expectancy than normal humans.

I must say I look human but far outlive and overpower them.

Playing around with the genes or creating another race was a must have for all players how wanted to become big shots because the normal human body can´t withstand extreme G-forces which was fatal in most battles we fought.

It was surprising that the devs of the game also considered this to make it realistic as possible, so there was no way around it other than to dapple in the science of gene manipulation.

The game was much like the movie Oppenheimer to understand it you need additional knowledge.

Well for me the resistance to G-forces and a longer life was a must so adjusted a little there and a little bit there until I had my imagined result.

Ahh… I couldn't help but dance winning moves at obtaining this new life and body.

After ten minutes of celebrating, I gradually calmed down and headed to the hangars where the others were waiting for my arrival.

With a grim expression on my face while I was internally extremely happy. I gotta at least look and act the way a commander should since I don't want a mutiny.

After all, as a superior I have to understand my subordinate's situations and adjust to them, even if they are droids driven by logic.

And they are probably freaked out that they lost contact with everyone and found themselves lost in space. I imagine that a few of the old maintenance droids are probably having error massages to this new situation.

[While our MC was celebrating meanwhile at the Hangars]

"Vincent what are your strategies to our current situation which Minerva informed us about" said Konstantin next to him while waiting for the General

"We are lost in space with no communication to everyone else"

"Upon our previous log histroy with constant encounters I deducted that our chances are high we will encounter other intelligent lifeforms in the next days"

"We could kidnap them to get more information about our current predicament" said Vincent in slightly more emotional robotic voice than the monotone and cold AI.

"We should suggest sending out droid starfighters as reconnaissance to get more information of our immediate environment" said Bill who was standing opposite the two.

"Where are Leon and Victor," said Konstantin somewhat lost.

"They are inspecting the commandos behind us, if you just turn around you will see them"

"But they already told us before inspecting and you clearly heard it," said Vincent

"I recommend checking your hearing devices Konstantin," said Bill

"…"

"Okay everybody in your positions the captain will come shortly" said Vincent in a tone which holds more authority in it.

All the droids are now standing neatly in lines before a large podium.

The five Droid Commanders are standing at the fore front.

After another ten minutes waiting in silence the General finally appeared.

[POV]

Before me a huge metal door slid open and revealed the big hangar.

I approached a large podium where I could see all my subordinates standing before me.

As I watched them, I cleared my throat to begin my speech and thought of the next steps I had to make.

Although personally I did not have to make a speech because the people under me are all programmed to be absolutely loyal and would never betray me, but I did as it was something I wanted to do on my to-do list of cool moments. After all I should appreciate every moment of this new life. And who gets the once in a lifetime chance to speak before a army, although robotic.

"My comrades in Arms, as you all know by now, we have somehow entered a new territory unbeknown to us, becoming lost in space and losing all our communications to our allies"

"But I Asher Schwarz as your Captain and Guild master of "Order of moonlight Emerald" will not back down upon this predicament we are in"

"We will face everything that stands in our path, we will protect together what we accomplished and will accomplish. We will explore and search this vast new galaxy. We must rebuild ourselves and make our presence once more known again. For the Order of moonlight Emerald!"

"That´s all" I said after a dramatic pause.

"Klang" "Klang" "Klang" after I ended my speech the metallic sound of metal colliding could be heard.

The droids were clapping with their hands although it was a strange sound of applause to me and quite funny to watch too. I nearly laughed on stage because of it.

Soon after, the droids were dispersing to their assigned workplaces and I on my way down of the podium spotted the generals.

"Generals follow me to the bridge we have some planning to do" I said

"Very well Captain" said Vincent and the others just nodded at my statement.

After a while we all where in the war room and stood behind a big metallic table where a hologram of the Flagship was depicted. The war room was quite conveniently placed next to the main bridge and my quarters.

"So what is in our current proximity of our ship" I said

[Minerva: Master we are currently in the outer orbit of a orange gas giant who is circling around a bluish star]

"Huh!? Then why did I not see it when I gazed out of the bridge" I said

[Minerva: That is because our flagship is facing the opposite direction where the gas giant could be seen]

"Argh does Minerva want to humiliate me before my Generals" I thought inwardly while clicking my tongue in annoyance.

"So is there any other planet in this star system" I said after I calmed down

[Minerva: Yes another planet gas giant with a asteroid belt is located 700 Million Kilometres away from us]

"Ahem Generals, Minerva your suggestions for how we should proceed in our current situation" I said while thinking about the problem at hand.

"We should send out droid starfighters as reconnaissance to get more information on our surroundings," said Bill

"That´s a good idea then send 8 droid starfighters in all celestial directions and also Minerva is it possible for you to extract precious metals from asteroids and build parts for a new base with it"

[Minerva: Yes Master, although I have only the Resurgent-class Star Destroyer, thankfully it is equipped with a building compartment and an extraction crew]

The building compartment is a small futuristic factory in the ship which tasks is repairing ground vehicles, building emergency spare parts for the vessel and so on. Located near the inbuild laboratory.

"Good then does anybody has something to add" I asked

"…"

With silence I concluded that all what was necessary has been said.

"Good then Minerva navigate our flagship to the gas giant with the asteroid belt" I said full of excitement for what will await me in this new life.

[Minerva: Yes Master]
