Kang Li smiled and started to tell a bedtime story.
Time ticked by, and after a few minutes, Xiao Loh En yawned, closed his eyes, and fell asleep.
"Ruirui, you shouldn't read for too long at night; it's bad for your eyes."
Rising from Xiao Loh En's bedside, Kang Li turned her gaze toward Min Rui. Seeing her eldest still sitting on the bed with a book, she couldn't help but comment.
"I'm done, going to sleep now."
Marking his place, Min Rui closed the book and placed it beside his pillow.
"Hanhan, what are you thinking about instead of sleeping?"
Her gaze shifted to Ming Han, and Kang Li watched her playful second son with a smile.
"Mom, I'm just about to sleep!"
Ming Han said as he closed his eyes, "Goodnight, Mom, I wasn't thinking of anything just now!"
"Goodnight."
Sneaky little fox, he must be thinking about playing tomorrow!
Kang Li smiled, shook her head, and left the room.
