She arched a brow. "What, now you're sharing?"

"No," he said. "I'm feeding."

Then, without waiting, he leaned forward just enough to offer the slice between his fingers. Not in some clumsy way either—his posture stayed immaculate. Wrist cocked, fingers gentle. Confident.

Shea blinked. And blushed.

The scent of the fruit lingered—sweet, ripe, with just enough acidity to make the moment feel sharper. She parted her lips, but her throat locked up as his gaze pinned her in place. Cold and warm at the same time. Like frost over embers.

Zoe stiffened beside them, her breath hitching. She didn't speak. She just watched. Lips slightly parted, eyes wide, cheeks faintly pink.

Shea finally leaned forward, her lips brushing his fingers just barely as she took the fruit. She tasted it—juicy, sweet, a little wild.

And he did it.

He touched her lips—just a bit. His fingers ghosted along the moisture left behind, slow and deliberate.
