Chapter 987 - Assessment

With his finances restored, Vale didn't waste a second.

He packed up his stall and left the Trade Hub quickly, heading back into the quieter parts of the Resource Floor.

Once again, he visited the shop selling empty crystals…

The elderly shopkeeper raised his head as Vale approached. "Back so soon, lad?"

Vale didn't bother with small talk. "I want fifty crates of Mid-Grade Empty Divine Crystals."

The old man blinked in surprise, then quickly did the math. "Five thousand Arcane Crystals. No discounts for a bulk like this, I'm afraid."

"That's fine," Vale replied as he transferred the payment. The old man was so used to hagglers that he actually hesitated for a moment, stunned by the lack of resistance.

"I—Right. Very well," the shopkeeper coughed awkwardly before adding, "Here. Two defective High-Grade Divine Crystals as a bonus. They're fractured, but someone with your aura might know what to do with them."
