The sun had dipped below the mountains by the time Chad and Vale returned to the Shadow Domain.
They didn't head toward the central city or the Shadow Caste. Instead, Vale led him to the newly installed tower atop a high hill overlooking the valley… It was his Immortal Tower.
The tower itself was made of black stone, and it was already filled with enchantments, ensuring its durability...
It was not incredibly high as Chad initially thought, but it was an imposing sight…
Although it was suppressed, Chad could feel the Divinity pressure coming from off of it…
There were familiar traces of shadow energy, and the air around it carried a subtle chill. It seemed to be an effect of the two Immortal Spirit Beasts that resided within.
'Spirit Beasts… I wonder what they look like…' Chad thought as Vale actually bragged about those two some time ago while they were traveling back.
