"you're Ethan's sister?" Diana asked doubtful.
"Yes and you must be the special woman by brother keeps talking about." Olivia giggled.
"Actually I'm not." Diana clarified.
"Oh well, I'll leave you to two to discuss, come in." Olivia said as she made way for her and shut the door behind.
"Brother you have a guest, I'll be upstairs if you need me." She said and left.
Diana, what brings you here late at night? Is there any problem?" He asked worried.
"Mr Sterling you're my problem, why do you keep adding to my problems?" She asked, avoiding his questions.
"Sir, you know that you've made me lose the little respect I had for today." She said angrily.
"How dare you Ethan Sterling come to my house and cause a scene, telling my family that you want to get married to me?" She asked infuriated. She never expected Ethan to stoop so low, he was a well known business man for a fact but it seems he doesn't have any shame.
"Is that why you came here?" He asked indifferent.
"Why else will I be here? Look sir, don't try to come in between I and my children or else-" She threatened.
"Or else what?" Ethan asked.
"I've been giving you little details of my plan but it seems you want to take it another way, that's fine by me but just know one thing." He said as he took a deep breath.
"If you don't do as I say you'll lose the children forever and there is nothing you or your family can do about it because we both know that they belong to the Sterling family." He said as Diana broke into a cold sweat.
"So it's best if you agree to the proposal before it's too late." He suggested as Diana fiddled with her fingers anxiously.
"Mr Sterling, your threats can't work on me." She said firmly.
"Fine, have a good night and please close the door behind once you're ready to leave." He said and headed upstairs without turning back to give her a second glance.
Diana was indeed scared by his threats but she couldn't find her self submitting to the one who ruined everything for her back then. She didn't want anything to do with the Sterling family, especially Ethan and Aaron. Does Ethan even know about her relationship with Aaron, she thought.
She only had one more option left and that was to run away, back to the states where she came from.
"I'll have to leave tonight?" She said as she zipped the last of her and the children's belongings.
"Even if I'm unable to take Kiara and Ciara, I must make sure Kian doesn't stay because he's the lucky ticket for him right now."
Once Diana was true, she carefully took the luggage downstairs without making a single noise and hurriedly went back upstairs to wake the children up.
"Mum, where are we going so late?" Kiara was the one to ask, since her brother and sister was still fast asleep in their mother's hand.
