Chapter 290 - 83

For a moment, Zion looked at his hand being held by Suga, as if silently questioning it. But Suga didn't say anything. When his face began to flush, he quickly pulled his hand away. Almost immediately, Zion reached out again, this time letting his fingertips lightly touch Suga's chin.

Zion's gaze narrowed, scanning the area, and the crease on his brow gradually smoothed.

With a quiet deliberation, almost like he was sensing the texture of skin, Zion spread his fingers. His hand drifted to Suga's neck, cradling it with such care it was as if he only wanted to feel its warmth.

The silence, coupled with Zion's unreadable expression, made Suga tense. He instinctively straightened his back, throat dry as he swallowed.

Zion felt the pulse beneath his fingers and slowly withdrew. That once uncertain hand moved to ruffle Suga's hair instead.

"You're still alive and that's what matters. You didn't mean to leave me. And I trust you, I really do, Suga."
