Chapter 1835 - Advancing Up The Path!

Watching Di Tou go up the stairs, the expert had a bit of a mixed bag of feelings. As a Nascent Soul Stage Expert, he typically wasn't a messenger, but rather one of the people sitting inside of the pavilion meeting guests, although today's meeting was of high enough caliber that he could only play the role of a messenger. Still, as a result of his usual role, he knew that although it was rare for the stairs to be brought out, it was even more rare for people to climb them! Although the stairs were a display of respect to the guest, indicating they didn't need to be tested, that was only a sign of respect on the host's side, as a guest, it was nice to conform to local traditions, right?
