Time really passed quickly…
Letting out a sigh, Di Tou landed on the top of his little hill, and began walking around slowly, placing a hand on the trunks of the trees that had sprouted up there and feeling a complex swath of emotions.
He had long since come to terms with the fact that he had been in this world for nearly five decades now. But seeing as he was somewhat… unconscious for over three of them, it was more of a mental acceptance of the fact that he was 'old.'
He didn't really… feel that old. It was more-so just a mental acknowledgement, and a slight change in judgment in the way he approached things! But looking at this tree that had grown, from not being there at all in the past… Well, it really struck him.
Trees didn't exactly grow fast. For a tree to grow tall and gnarled, one could only see it a few times in their lifetime, and here he was, standing before a tree that was much taller then his person, and probably had a few decades in age…
