Sitting there and thinking, Di Tou felt quite silly… Was he an ancient philosopher? Sitting on a rock, drinking wine and constantly discussing the many difficulties of living a plain life?
What sort of pompous attitude was that? A philosopher's words might sound nice, but the simple truth was that there was not always a strict meaning… or a necessity to find a meaning to life. Even in their hardest moments, people didn't worry so much about the meaning behind things, so much as just looking for a reason to continue.
If you kept on moving, you would keep on living… If things were hard, you would find places to sacrifice and would just find a way to keep living. That was it. Life was as simple as life sometimes….
Of course, this was a simplification, but… hey, he was no philosopher.
…
Keep on going, huh?
