Chapter 1934 - Joining for a Chat and a Meal

After sharing another glance, one of the men who hadn't spoken yet shrugged his shoulders and said, "Sure, pull out one of the mellow tubers from anywhere and bring it over to roast over the fire. We can talk while we eat." Pausing for a moment, Di Tou had to comprehend what 'mellow tubers' were before he looked over to see the 'food' that was in the the few farmer's hands. Understanding, Di Tou hesitated for half a moment before going over to the side and digging out a hole to pull out a tuber, just like he could tell had been done not far away by the farmers. Bringing the tuber over, Di Tou watched for a moment before digging a small hole near the base of the fire and placing the mellow tuber at the base to heat up and cook.
