Chapter 1944 - Legend of the Marriage Monk

Walking around the city and talking and chatting, as well as enjoying himself at a few fine restaurants, Di Tou felt like his suspicion was confirmed even further. Although it was now old news and wasn't discussed very often anymore, many people, even those who hadn't been directly impacted or even seen Wu Kong knew the legend of the Marriage Monk appearing a few years back. In one part of the city, there was even a small statue of the Marriage Monk which had rather indistinct features.

Of course, this statue was in a somewhat secluded area, and there wasn't an offering bowl or anything like that, as making offerings to anyone but the Celestial Envoys was a form of sacrilage, but in general, it didn't seem like the Marriage Monk was 'hush hush' and had been banned, and it also didn't seem like it was a secret that only those who had experienced it would believe.
