Slightly confused and amused, in the end, Di Tou didn't pay it much mind, and once again took a step forward, this time using a bit more force and entering the 'natural' state, with a single step, Di Tou appeared behind the cultivator who had been blocking his way, and continued slowly walking forward. As he did so, he let out a slight frown and shifted his palm, catching a sharp blade that reached towards his back.
Clenching his palm, Di Tou shattered the blade before continuing to walk. Behind him, the face of the old man morphed into shock, while the surrounding wizards who had once again been working together to chant a spell shuddered for a second, as a few more observant wizards who noticed what happened lost their concentration, causing the whole spell to fail. There was no catastrophic 'backfire' explosion that caused chaos, but certainly a few pained faces appeared as the recoil of the failed spell coursed through a number of folk's bodies.
