We slept in a room that Korin had kindly prepared for us, and I have to say, he might have second-guessed that choice by morning! I guess my tail must have been twitching now and then while I slept, which probably made it hard for the others to get comfortable. By the time the sun came up, the room had that stuffy 'too many people in one place' feeling. And Korin, with his sharp sense of smell, gave me this funny look—like he was wondering how on Earth I'm still pure enough to ride a Flying Nimbus, hahahahaha!
After tidying up and packing our things to leave after breakfast, we decided a quick shower would be best before heading out. We'd spent a full day at Korin's Tower, but honestly, there wasn't much more for him to teach us—everything he passed on to me, I picked up almost instantly, then relayed to the others via telepathy. They still needed time to practice, but the knowledge was there.
In my opinion, being analytical when learning things like Ki manipulation techniques is important. For me, it was easy because I can literally count the grains of sand on the beach and calculate exactly how to use Ki. It's not complicated at all!
"We'll head to Kami's Lookout so we can eat leisurely before we leave," I said, motivated to get new blood samples, such as from Kami and Mr. Popo.
Bulma said, "Great, I can gather more information about Ki and its unique properties, and that thing called the Senzu Bean—I believe I can analyze it to produce a healing gel." I thought that would be good for the healing chamber instead of using water—imagine a weakened version of the Senzu Bean.
As Panchy prepared the food and Tights focused on writing the continuation of her journey as a warrior Amazon princess, we finally had breakfast and were ready to leave. We had already packed everything before eating.
"Let's go, Korin, see you later!" I said to Korin, moving to the edge of the tower.
"Now, we have two ways to get there," I pointed to the floating dot in the sky. "We can use the Power Pole, which is on Gina's waist, or we can fly there. I'll create a Ki barrier to protect us from any defense system this tower may have! What do you think?" I asked the girls.
They talked it over, then Gina stepped forward."Let's fly, it's faster than the other method," she said, ready to leave and train.
"Okay, then let's go!" I said and began to fly, the others following. Quickly, I made a Ki bubble like Broly in Dragon Ball Z Classic, using a Ki ball to create a dome to protect us!
During the trip, we faced lightning, strong wind, and heavy rain. I remembered that before we ascended, the weather wasn't like this—it must be a defense system of the tower! But for the strong, this was nothing. We pushed through quickly and approached the Lookout.
** Kami POV - He was watching Ethan's trial the whole time ** (A/N: Earlier times!)
"That boy just came to train? Strange, I thought he wanted something from the tower, but why the hell did he want a seed that only satisfies hunger for 10 days? He really doesn't want anything else but to train?" Kami thought, suspicious of Ethan's motives—not entirely wrong, but for now, it really was just training with Korin.
He had even given Korin some fish, simply as an act of goodwill, since Korin didn't get much fish up there. Not that he needed it—one Senzu Bean would have done the job. As a Namekian, Kami only needed water to survive, so gourmet food wasn't exactly a priority.
Finally, they arrived at the most obvious test they would have: Ethan would step on the Flying Nimbus and prove whether he had a good heart or not, allowing Kami to show him the path to possibly become the next Guardian of Earth.
When Ethan's feet touched the cloud, he stood firm without wobbling. Kami knew—this was the one. Finally, he could retire and rest.
Kami began to sway his robe and laugh, knowing another pure person had come to the tower.
"It's all right, Lord Kami!" Mr. Popo said, noticing Kami's sudden excitement.
Back to Ethan at the Lookout
As soon as I set foot on the ground, Mr. Popo emerged from the surrounding mist.
"Welcome, honored guests! Kami has been waiting for you," Mr. Popo said, leading us toward Kami's palace.
"This is the Lookout, where Kami lives and works as Earth's protector! I am his assistant, Mr. Popo," he continued, clearly well-rehearsed.
We finally reached a green man in a robe holding a staff, his face set in an expression that looked like he'd just eaten something sour. Tights, though, seemed delighted—likely jotting this all down for her "epic master journey" story.
"Pleased to meet you. I am—" Kami began, but was cut short.
At that moment, a power level of about 11K Ki appeared on the planet. We all turned toward its direction. It was a Saiyan—and not alone! Two more similar signatures accompanied him in a ship.
"Guys, there are three beings coming to this planet—one is a Saiyan, and the other two are likely allies," I told them.
I looked at everyone to set a plan."Gina, we're going there. Let's transform now to avoid revealing too much of our power. We're still stronger than them."
"Chi-Chi, you're the strongest here. Stay and defend this place. If someone shows up, stop them. If you can finish the fight, fine—if not, hold them off," I said.
I floated upward, Gina joining me and wrapping her tail lightly around mine—a small gesture of camaraderie we often shared—before we sped toward the incoming ship.
We saw the attack pod blazing during re-entry, looking like it might burst apart any moment.
POV change to Fasha - inside the spacecraft
Fasha gritted her teeth as her space pod plunged into the atmosphere, flames surrounding it. She focused on keeping the pod stable despite the intense vibration.
The fiery glow faded—re-entry almost done. She released the parachute, felt the jolt, and exhaled in relief as Earth's landscape came into view.
Landing was rough but steady. She opened the hatch, stepped onto the grass, and inhaled deeply, savoring the earthy scent. She felt renewed—she was here to find her goddaughter.
Looking up, she saw two figures flying toward her. Her eyes widened—could it be…?
