A week later, Nidia went to the hospital.
Angelica stepped out of the car, then turned around and gently supported Nidia as she got out.
"Be careful!"
Nidia chuckled. "Mom, relax! I'm just here for a pregnancy check-up. It's not like I'm severely ill or anything."
Jackson was supposed to accompany her today, but he had an international video conference to attend. Nidia didn't want him to delay his work for her every time, hence she adamantly refused his company and asked Angelica to come with her instead.
"Pregnancy is a serious matter, especially when it's your first trimester. You're having triplets and you had an unstable pregnancy before this, so we mustn't take this lightly!" Angelica supported Nidia as they walked slowly into the elevator.
They had already made an appointment beforehand, so they could see the doctor immediately upon their arrival. Angelica kept Nidia company the entire time.
