Nidia kissed her son lightly on the cheek and felt that his temperature was back to normal. As she adjusted his blanket, she noticed that Bubsy was drenched in sweat.
"I'll go get some warm water for Bubsy to wipe his body. With this amount of sweat, he could catch a cold again," said Nidia.
Nidia was just about to stand up when Jackson grabbed her arm and motioned her to sit down. He would get the water instead.
Jackson came back with a small tub of water. He wet a towel, squeezed off the excess water, and passed it to Nidia for her to wipe Bubsy's body.
Nidia made sure to wipe off all the sweat and help Bubsy change into a fresh set of clothes. The little boy instantly looked much better.
