At the hospital.
A few days after the car accident, the chauffeur was finally out of critical condition. Danny was worried that what his father said would come true so he hired some bodyguards to protect him at the hospital.
Danny woke up with a dry and painfully swollen throat. He wanted to call for help because the nurse was not in the room, but the pain had rendered his voice hoarse and frail. He could only give up and press the bell beside the headboard.
Danny waited for a long time but no one came in. He propped himself up strenuously. With one hand braced on the bed, his other hand reached toward the table to get a cup of water.
The cup dropped onto the floor when he was just so close to getting it!
At that moment, the door was pushed open. A nurse entered and saw the cup that had fallen onto the floor. "Mr. Roberts, please lie down. You shouldn't be moving around yet."
