Samuel's brows furrowed as he curled his lips. Glancing at Nidia innocently, he refuted, "That's not true at all, South. I would never have the guts to steal Jacks' precious babies."
Leaning against the bed, Nidia could not help but chuckle. "Stop giving him a hard time, Jackson."
Having Nidia speaking for him, Samuel gradually felt relieved. He immediately showered her with praises. "South always has such observant eyes that notice every little detail."
Nidia smiled lightly. Before she had met Jackson, she had never expected these young men from wealthy families to behave so childishly.
Only when she had started a serious relationship with Jackson did she discover his true colors, and that included his affectionate side as well as his childish behavior. Before being together, he had been a completely different person and had acted ruthlessly.
