The next day, Dylan went to the hospital at six in the morning. Matilda was still sleeping as she was up late last night taking care of the children. Lily was not awake at the moment too.
Uilliam and Emmeline were awake, staring at the ceiling quietly.
It was the fourth day since they were born. Their skin looked much softer and smoother than on the first day.
As the creases on Emmeline's eyelids were very visible, Dylan reckoned she would grow up looking exactly like Lily, with bright and sparkly eyes.
On the other hand, Uilliam had an upturned nose, which Dylan figured he probably inherited from his father.
Dylan sat by the bed and held their hands. It was a warm and fuzzy moment.
After some time, Matilda awoke because of the ringing phone. She went out to answer the call.
"What? Someone punctured all four tires?" Matilda could not believe it. "So, how are you going to go to the hospital and bring the food to Lily later? By taxi?"
