' She looks so cute in her sleep ' Lu Muchen thought as he stated at the sleeping Cheng Yinan who had leaned her head on the car window gas asleep. He settled her head well on the seat. He then got out of the car. They had arrived at his place for a while now but he didn't want to disturb her sleep.
Lu Muchen opened the door and carefully took her in his arms. She snuggled closer making him smile at their closeness.
Lu Muchen found his way somehow into the bedroom. He got closer to the bed and was about to lay her down but she wasn't letting go of him. He gently removed her hand lat her on the bed.
Cheng Yinan was still in her Qipao. Now how was he going to change her clothes. He knew she wasn't going to feel comfortable with those clothes on to sleep. His brows were furrowed as he had no idea what to do.
He then picked up his phone and dialed Yang Ruoxi's number. It went through but no ywas picking up. He tried a few times more but no one picked up. He then called his mom.
" Ah Chen why are you calling this late..what happened " Zheng Mian asked worried.
" Mom can you come to my place now " he asked her. " Chen tell me what happened "
" Please just come mom " he said then hang up.
After about half an hour later Zheng Mian came rushing in th room like a mini world war 2 was happening right behind her.
" Lu Mu... " Madam Lu couldn't finish her sentence as her some held his finger to his lips, indicating that he wanted her to keep quiet. " She is asleep " he said in a very low voice. Madam Lu nodded her head and signalled to him why he asked her to come in the middle of the night. " She will be uncomfortable in her current clothes..I need you to change her clothes for her " he said scratching the back of his neck. Madam Lu didn't know whether she should laugh or cry.
' Look at him being gentle ' she thought smiling to herself. Instead of being bothered by him waking her up in the middle of the night, she wasn't. She understood her son very well. He could have easily changed her himself but he didn't want to do anything that Cheng Yinan wouldn't like when she wakes up. ' How thoughtful ' .
Zheng Mian asked him to go out so she could do what sh came for. Lu Muchen entered the closet, picked a some clothes for himself and for Cheng Yinan. He handed the clothes for Cheng Yinan to his mother and entered the bathroom.
By the time Mother Lu was done changing Cheng Yinan, Lu Muchen was also done bathing. " I have changed her, am going home " She said picking up her stuff ready to leave.
" Stay for the night..it late " Lu Muchen said. He held his mother by the shoulders and led her to the guest room.
" Good night Mom " he said and kissed her forehead. " Thank you " he added. " You're welcome son " she said smiling. She watched as he walked away. She couldn't be more proud of him. Her son has grown to be a man now. She turned and closed the door.
Lu Muchen entered his room and Cheng Yinan was still asleep. He crawled into bed and hugged her to sleep.
