Chapter 3 - chapter 3 “goodbye”

"Your Highness, did I make you wait so long?"

A question came out of my mouth as I opened the door lightly and my hands covered my pajamas with a light robe, hiding my confusion before anything else. The atmosphere is unusually charged... Weird and confusing. Why is the crown prince, Cassier, standing on my doorstep? Is it something official? Or personal? Why now?

I bowed to him very politely, while he remained standing with his usual calmness, his expressionless face did not change. His soft white hair looks like my hair, and those deep red eyes... Is this really my older brother?

"No," he replied with a word, his voice low and heavy, as if he was hiding more than he appeared.

"So, would His Majesty come in?"

"What I'm going to say won't take long... So there's no need to go in, Princess."

"Ah, okay..."

"It looks like the princess is getting married tomorrow."

I smiled, a fake smile that I mastered for years. "Yes, of course, it's for peace... And for our renered empire."

I answered with a perfect sentence, not without fabrication, I wanted to keep up with it, maybe to satisfy him... I don't know.

There was a sudden silence between us, but this silence was not quiet, but looked heavy like embers in the chest. He looked at me, his eyebrows frowning, as if something was bothering him.

"Your brothers..." He whispered to me.

"Yes?"

"I will take care of the prince and the princess... You don't have to worry."

I froze, like a rock hit by a sudden storm. Is... Was he listening to our conversation in the dining room? Why does he suddenly act nice? What's his interest?

"Why would Your Majesty do such an unexpected thing?"

"Because they...are My brothers too."

In an instant, my red eyes flashed with emotion, flashing in spite of me. Foolish... Come back to reality. Don't be fooled by kind words. He is the son of the empress... Our eternal enemy.

"Then why didn't you help me at that time?"

My question came out like a shot, without thinking, without counting, I know that the air will be electrified... But I just couldn't cope. That incident... That night... That silence. You let me down.

He Stopped. He didn't get a letter. He just shoked a light shake on his broad shoulder, as if my words had penetrated him.

I know, I can't count on you.

"Thank you for your concern for my brothers. But they are strong, and they don't need protection that you don't have time for... Especially from the occupied crown prince."

His red eyes seemed to be arched with refraction, he looked at me as if I had hurt his heart. Am I... Do I dream? Is this a look of sadness in his eyes?!

"Anyway, I have to prepare for tomorrow, Your Majesty. If you finish what you came for... I'm going to sleep."

He tried to say something, but his words hung between his lips. His face returned to his usual inertia, and he turned with cold steps, leaving behind the echo of a strange dialogue... Very strange.

I closed the white door and leaned my trembling back on it.

"Hhhh..."

I sighed a long sigh and fell to the ground. I don't hate him... But he didn't help me either. He didn't hurt us, he didn't protect us... It's very neutral, and it hurts.

The next morning

"Philly, sweetie... You look like an angel who came down from heaven."

The Empress said it with her fox smile, while little Julie was jumping with joy.

"My sister looks like a princess!"

I smiled at her, just for her. Yes, I'm really a princess... But not in the way you imagine.

I wore a luxurious dress, more than I like. I didn't know who I was going to marry in the first place... So I didn't wear a wedding dress.

My fake family stood up to say goodbye to me, with artificial smiles, except for Lucio.

"I want you to be happy there..."

He said it in a broken voice, as if preventing his tears from falling.

"I love you."

I hugged him tightly, until he blushed.

"Hey... Everyone is watching us!"

I laughed. It's okay, I'll make you angry for the last time.

Bypassed Beryl and Vinias as if they were absent. Even the Vineus, the maniac, didn't say a word.

I bowed to the emperor: "Goodbye, Your Majesty. I hope my marriage is helpful."

He patted my head like a loving father... How good you are at acting, Dad. Is this the first time you smile at me?

I looked at Cassier for a moment, then left, heading towards the procession of the Rovel Empire.

We passed through the crowds, flowers and cheers were raining us.

"The beloved princess who will save the empire."

But everyone was wrong.

The luxurious carriage was befitting the Rovel Empire, but the looks of the knights penetrated me like knives.

"Why would our master marry an arrogant princess?"

"They sold the princess for their own interests."

"She'll definitely be as cheap as her family."

I lowered my head from the window. My breathing is tight, my syndrome is approaching.

Rosie, in front of me, was worried, but she didn't dare to speak.

Fortunately, Rosie and Rodion came with me. Their presence gives me a sense of security.

"Your Highness, we have arrived at the port. Her Majesty can go out now."

Rodion, my personal Persian, said it in a gentle tone. I took out my head, and saw his bright face just for my conversation.

I haven't forgotten the love of the Andromed people for me... And for my brothers. They were disappointed for me.

I got out of the car elegantly, and the sea breeze kisses my face. Nice feeling...

"It's an honor to meet the beautiful first princess."

He was a stylish man standing at the ship. His hair is dark blue tied, his eyes are the same color, he wears round glasses.

"Who are you?"

"I am Dylan, His Majesty the Emperor's assistant at Rovel... You can treat me comfortably, your Highness the Princess."

I smiled, but I couldn't believe his intentions.

"Thank you to His Majesty for sending his best assistant."

I put my hand in his and got on the ship, while his artificial smile was meticulously analyzing me.

"EXCUSE ME, FOR MY RUDENESS, WHO ARE THESE?"

He asked about Rosie and Rodeon, in a tone with something of suspicion.

"Hahaha, they're my maid and my personal knight."

He bowed politely, and Dylan seemed to have the features of understanding.

"So... That's how it is."

What did he mean? I ignored.

After the packing, and before lunch, I asked to change my room with Rosie.

"I love looking at the sea."

I said with a calm smile.

Dylan agreed, despite his hesitation. Is it really that easy? It doesn't matter.

At night, as the rain knocks on the sky, a huge thunder woke me up. It's dark, suffocating. Not because of the storm... It's because of another voice. Noise in the corridors.

"Ahhhh!!"

A man's scream broke through the ship's silence . I know this voice... Rodeon?!

I madly opened the door, and found the door of Rosie's room open.

I looked... And if Rodeon's body is lying to the ground. A shock penetrated me. What... What's going on?!

A huge man standing next to him, his sharp eyes shining in the dark, staring at me.

An immediate desire to thrive up swept me.

"Mo... My lady! Run away!!"

Rodeon shouted

To be continued…
