"Alright, I won't fight you for it."
The old man wasn't fussy at all. Yaen Chi paid, and he took a sip of soup.
After paying, Yaen Chi picked up the leftover noodles in his bowl with two chopsticks and stuffed it into his mouth, then wiped his lips.
He noticed the old man glancing at the pack of cigarettes from time to time, Yaen Chi said, "How about I give you these cigarettes?"
"No way, they're worth a few hundred bucks, I'm just looking."
"If you like them, take them. I'll buy another pack later."
Yaen Chi picked up the cigarettes and tried to stuff them into the old man's hand, but the old man pushed back several times. He almost gave in because he was itching for them, but then his wife's face flashed in his mind, jolting him as he pleaded urgently, "I'm just being polite with you, don't get me in trouble! If I take these cigarettes home, my wife will surely think I'm stashing secret funds!"
Yaen Chi's expression froze, "Seriously, that happens?"
