Chu Yao's gaze lingered intentionally on his lips for three seconds before slowly lifting her eyes. Her eyes sparkled with a myriad of expressions as they met Mo Tingshen's.
She seemed seductive, but her eyes were actually filled with an icy indifference.
There wasn't a trace of genuine emotion.
Mo Tingshen neither advanced nor retreated, his shoulders relaxed, unaffected by her closeness. His heartbeat remained steady as he calmly looked into her eyes.
"Tch!"
Chu Yao withdrew herself, "Boring!"
"Go back to your seat."
"No, I want to sit here."
Chu Yao insisted on sitting right next to him, so close that there wasn't the slightest gap between them.
On Mo Tingshen's side of the table, there were hardly any dishes, and she nonchalantly pushed them aside. Resting her left hand under her head and leaning against his shoulder, she used her right hand to stir in the pot. Despite her efforts, she couldn't find a piece of meat, only vegetables, which made her instantly frustrated.
