There’s a gentle knock at the door that is initially met with silence. However, upon knocking once more, it’s enough to finally make Nadia stir. “Mhm…Keiko? I think that’s the door.”
Keiko wakes now just as a third knock can be heard. “Oh, uh, who is it?” She groggily asks.
“I’m sorry for disturbing you Kei, but I’ve brought dinner for you and Nadia. If you want it.”
Keiko springs up in bed now, suddenly wide awake. “Oh, yes! Please come in, it’s unlocked!”
Nadia chuckles at the all too familiar reaction. “You still retained your big love of food, huh?”
“Well yeah! As long as I’m alive, I’m going to enjoy food Nadia. Be serious!” She pokes her.
