Lady Roselani smiled at her son, gazing at him and realizing how much he had grown.
"Seb," she called his name in the shortened form he had always loved to hear from her. She outstretched her hands towards him.
"Mother," Sebastian called again, evident surprise and excitement in his voice as he walked to her. He touched her hands softly, feeling her skin, and enveloped her in a hug.
"Oh, my child," Lady Roselani whispered as she stroked Sebastian's head on her shoulders. She could tell the difference in him; he had grown - tall and broad. More handsome and, most evidently, with a strong resolve and lack of emotions. One that a human was breaking slowly.
He wasn't shivering, but she could feel his warm tears that dropped onto her shoulders. She was proud of him, too proud.
Eve stood at the doorstep of the balcony watching the mother and son duo with a smile on her lips. She knew how much Sebastian loved his mother, which was why she summoned her soul for him.
