Mu Xingye fell into silence. He still hadn't figured out Du Ruoning's identity. He feared he might disappoint his grandparents.
"Ah Yu is your brother after all. I hope you can consider the family ties. If he truly did something wrong, you must give him a chance to make amends."
"Grandpa, don't worry. Unless he reaches an unforgivable state, I will allow him a way out." Mu Xingye replied calmly.
Sir Mu opened his mouth as if to say something, but held back.
"Young Master Mu," Wen Yanqing's voice was heard from outside the door.
"Grandpa, you should rest for a while. I'll go check on Grandma."
"Okay, go on."
Mu Xingye walked out. "Let's change locations to talk."
"Alright."
Just as the two reached the end of the corridor, Du Ruoning stepped out from the shadows.
Lady Mu's attending doctor was so scared his back was drenched. "It scared me to death. Thankfully, nothing was detected."
