My thoughts came to halt with the dying engine which indicated we reached school. Unexpectedly Ray opened the door for me and extended his hand towards me leaving me in awe. The butterflies I had been feeling in my Stomach multiplied by two . I looked up to meet his dark eyes which had already been looking at me. But those eyes had something else in them which left as fast as it came. However I took his hand before he changed his mind and miss the only opportunity to touch him and regret it later for the rest of my life. As I held his hand I felt like he shivered a little but when I looked at him to check he had a bored and irritating expression on his face. So I made it quick and came out of the car and released his hand.
As I left his hand, I was already missing it. It was the first time I held his hand. I wanted to hold it for a bit longer but I didn't want him to think that I am also same like other girl who just wants to get on his bed , because I wasn't someone who would simply get on one's bed without love between us. However , I looked at my hand which he was holding. I closed my eyes to relive the feeling. His hands were cold and rough. Like he always work out and even more. His hands were tough but not rough. Thought it was cold and tough, it was smooth to touch. I wonder how would his hand feel against my skin.
What the hell am I thinking? Oh God....no...no ..no .... I can't be thinking such impure things. So I closed my eyes hard and shook my head slightly and then opened my eyes only to wish the ground to swallow me entirely.
Ray was still standing beside me. And only standing but also starring at me like I am a total weirdo. Well I can't blame him adjectly cause if i found someone doing the things I had been doing since last minute . I would have the same look on my face. So I just thought to explain myself.
" Actually.....I...I ....."
He interrupted me saying, " Don't bother. Actually I was just waiting for you to join me."
With that he asked me to hold his hand. I was definitely shocked beyond imagination and froze there.
" Will you keep starring?"
" I....I....My purse." , I told him guesting towards the car.
" Okay. I will get it for you."
He left my side to grab the purse while I let go of my breath I never realise holding. I took a few more deep breath to calm my nerves.
" If you are done with your meditation, can we leave now? ", Ray asked me in a very annoying voice. I didn't want to annoy him more so I just nodded.
I looked around to look for Emily but was interrupted by Ray , " They already left . So let's go now."
"....Umm...let's go."
With that we left for the hall where function was carried out.
The entire hall was decorated like the fairy tail. Maybe this how the theme party looks like. The entire hall was decorated in different shades of blue and white . All the lights were either neon blue or white . I starred at the hall for God know how long trying to take in whatever my eyes cought. But my eyes landed back on those mesmerizing back eyes which was shining like star while starring at me. However his face didn't give away any emotions. It was void of all emotions. Yet I found myself drown in it. The longer I looked the deeper I fell. They sucked me in like a black pit with no light at all.
