Chapter 1631 - Could Be

When Ayrenn stepped into Eastwatch, she was shocked. The place was covered in snow and made up of warehouses, homes, and shops. Main Street stretched all the way to the port that was open to merchants. She headed that way, ignoring the sellers shouting out deals to try to lure her in.

'Damn people, never change,' she thought.

Following that, she continued through the busy city, dodging people who rushed past. They were quickly stopped by the Homeguard, who ordered them to stop running in case it caused trouble. She passed by a loud tavern where dock workers were singing, celebrating getting bonuses.

Ayrenn knew Archer paid the people well, and it baffled her; she didn't know how they paid such expenses, but something caught her attention. As she crested a hill, she spotted a Mining Platform in the far distance. Large cargo ships were hauling stuff between it and the city.

''How did he create such monsters?'' she muttered.
