I watched in bewilderment as Gayara left without even looking back.
Nguyen started whining, he flailed around Miss Shevan's arms in obvious urgency, his moist eyes followed Gayara's figure, the wings on his back flapping madly.
"What's the matter?!!"
Miss Shevan was bewildered, involuntarily letting the wolf go.
Nguyen happily flew after Gayara but stopped abruptly, ears drooping in disappointment.
Gayara must have told him to stay here.
Despite being upset, she did not forget my safety.
Such unreserved treatment made me feel ashamed, my behavior must be the most unfair to her in comparison.
Then the brother-in-law flew back and landed beside the entrance, looking at me with questions in his eyes.
It was not my intention to doubt Gayara, but my unintentional words should have hurt her.
